Look: On 15 July 2026, the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command (CGLSC) formally welcomed its newly installed Commander, Rear Admiral Mitzie S. Silva‑Campo, held at HCGLSC, Coast Guard Base Farola Muelle Dela Industria, Binondo, Manila—following her assumption of Command on 14 July 2026.
Female personnel of the Command rendered Foyer Honors to the new Commander, conveying the unit’s profound respect and sincere welcome. The observance embodied the professionalism, discipline, and enduring esprit de corps that define the Command.
This occasion marked Rear Admiral Silva‑Campo’s first official engagement at headquarters, signaling the start of a new chapter. Officers and personnel assembled to receive her and reaffirm their commitment to delivering responsive, reliable logistics support to the Philippine Coast Guard.
Rear Admiral Silva‑Campo takes the helm at a historic juncture: she is the Philippine Coast Guard’s first female two‑star line officer, as well as the first female Commander to lead CGLSC. Her distinguished career spans key leadership assignments, defined by exemplary competence and unwavering dedication to public service.
The ceremony affirmed the Command’s unity and readiness to advance under her direction, as CGLSC continues to strengthen its vital role in sustaining the PCG’s operational requirements and strategic objectives.

The Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command (CGLSC) conducted a Company Run on 13 July 2026 at Rizal Park, Luneta, Manila. Spearheaded by Commander, CGLSC Rear Admiral Marco Antonio P. Gines, the event brought together CGLSC officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian employees in a unified stride toward better health and stronger bonds across the Command.

This activity was organized to advocate physical fitness, instill an active lifestyle, and nurture teamwork among all ranks. It likewise served to deepen camaraderie, uplift morale, and reinforce that consistent physical conditioning is fundamental to sustained operational readiness. The Commander CGLSC joined the participants throughout the run, leading by example to advance a culture of discipline, wellness, and solidarity.

The successful conduct of the Company Run underscores CGLSC’s steadfast dedication to the holistic welfare of its personnel. A healthy, cohesive workforce forms the heart of a resilient command—fully prepared to serve and support the Philippine Coast Guard’s vital missions.

This activity underscores the 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 (CGLTI) dedicated in advancing the knowledge and competencies of PCG personnel in logistics and supply chain management through a well ventilated classroom.

𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 institutionalizing proper procedures for the reporting, turn-in, and disposal of government properties.

𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 highlighting the inspection of Deployable Response Group (DRG) equipment to be distribute in various districts to strengthen their capability in disaster response.

These newly established facility are crucial for ensuring that our personnel are well-trained, our supplies are readily available, and our resources are managed with the highest standards of transparency and efficiency.

Personnel of the Coast Guard Ready Store Division (CGRSD) conducted an Educational Tour and Cultural Visit at the National Museum of the Philippines located along Padre Burgos Avenue, Ermita, Manila.

The activity provided CGRSD personnel with the opportunity to deepen their appreciation of the nation’s rich history, cultural heritage, and artistic achievements through the museum’s extensive exhibits and collections. Earlier today, 18 June 2026, personnel of the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command (CGLSC) actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 at the Coast Guard Base Farola Parade Ground. The activity was conducted in compliance with directives issued to all Philippine Coast Guard units to enhance disaster preparedness, safety awareness, and emergency response capabilities.

During the drill, CGLSC personnel practiced the standard “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, followed by an orderly evacuation to designated assembly areas. Simultaneously, CGLSC Safety Officers inspected the command’s buildings and facilities to identify potential hazards, assess structural safety, and ensure compliance with emergency preparedness measures.

By actively participating in the Earthquake Drill and conducting comprehensive facility inspections, the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding personnel, protecting government assets, and maintaining operational readiness. Through these efforts, CGLSC continues to strengthen its capability to respond effectively to emergencies and support a safer, more resilient Philippine Coast Guard.
