LOOK | RADM MITZIE S SILVA-CAMPO PCG, Commander, Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command (CG LSC), together with Mr. Noroden J. Mira-Ato, Audit Team Leader of the Commission on Audit (COA), Ms. Maria Narra J. Anacan, Chief Supply Accountable Officer (SAO), and Ms. Anie Rose G. Pastor, CPA, Chief Accountant, conducted an official visit and inspection of the Coast Guard Ready Store Division (CGRSD) Office and Warehouse, as well as the Coast Guard Disposal Division (CGDD), Coast Guard Logistics Training Institute (CGLTI), and the Coast Guard Supply Accountable Office (CGSAO) located at 9428 Urma Drive corner Cecille Street, Airport Village, Brgy. Vitalez, Parañaque City.
The visit forms part of the Command’s continuing efforts to strengthen logistics management, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold transparency and accountability in the stewardship of government resources. During the activity, the Commander personally assessed the overall condition of the facilities, warehouse operations, inventory management, property accountability, and administrative processes of the different logistics units.
The inspection also provided an opportunity for constructive discussions with key personnel regarding ongoing programs, operational challenges, and best practices aimed at improving logistics support services. In coordination with the Commission on Audit, the activity reaffirmed the Philippine Coast Guard’s commitment to sound fiscal management, compliance with existing government rules and regulations, and the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and public accountability.
Through initiatives such as this, the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command continues to reinforce its mission of delivering responsive, reliable, and efficient logistics support, ensuring that every logistics unit remains capable, accountable, and ready to sustain the operational requirements of the Philippine Coast Guard.
