"PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE"

🤝 Strengthening Cooperatives Through Knowledge and Good Governance!

The Parañaque Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), in coordination with the Cooperative Development Authority – National Capital Region Extension Office (CDA-NCREO), successfully conducted a 1-day seminar on Parliamentary Procedure designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of cooperatives registered in the City of Parañaque.

The activity highlighted the importance of effective governance, proper parliamentary procedure, and active participation in cooperative decision-making. Through continuous education and capacity-building, cooperative officers are better equipped to lead with integrity, accountability, and commitment to their members.

The productive learning session was attended by 71 representatives from 22 registered cooperatives, all eager to strengthen their organizations and better serve their members.

ENTREPRENEURIAL MIND SETTING AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

🤝 Empowering Entrepreneurs Through Knowledge and Financial Wisdom!

The Parañaque Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI - NCRO), successfully conducted a seminar entitled “Entrepreneurial Mind Setting and Financial Management” for the beneficiaries of the Tulong Pangkabuhayan and Livelihood Pangkabuhayan Package.

The seminar was attended by 82 participants, who actively took part in the learning sessions designed to strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset, enhance their financial management skills, and help them make informed decisions in managing and growing their livelihood ventures.

Through this initiative, the Parañaque Cooperative Development Office continue to support our beneficiaries by providing not only livelihood assistance but also the knowledge and skills necessary to sustain and develop their businesses.

🌱 Building Stronger Cooperatives Through Knowledge! 🤝

The Parañaque Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) successfully conducted a 1-day Seminar on Republic Act No. 9710, also known as the Magna Carta of Women, for cooperatives registered in the City of Parañaque.

The Magna Carta of Women promotes equality, empowerment, and equal opportunities for women.

The seminar emphasized the importance of Gender and Development (GAD) in cooperatives by encouraging women and men to actively participate in leadership, decision-making, training, and economic activities. By promoting gender equality and inclusion, we help build stronger, fairer, and more empowered cooperative communities.

💚 Together, let’s create cooperatives where everyone has an equal opportunity to participate, lead, and grow!

The productive learning session were attended by 75 representatives from 25 registered cooperatives, all eager to strengthen their knowledge, enhance their organizations, and better serve their members. 🤝💚

The Parañaque Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) successfully conducted a 2-day Seminar on the Fundamentals of Cooperatives for small, medium, and large cooperatives registered in the City of Parañaque.

This seminar serves as an important foundation for building knowledgeable, responsible, and empowered cooperative leaders who can help their organizations grow and serve their members better. It also aims to strengthen their understanding of cooperative principles, values, governance, and responsibilities.

The productive learning sessions were attended by 51 representatives from 17 registered cooperatives, all eager to strengthen their knowledge, enhance their organizations, and better serve their members. 🤝💚

"RULES AND POLICY FORMULATION"

🤝 Empowering Local Cooperatives for a Brighter Future!

The Parañaque Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) successfully conducted the seminar workshop on Rules and Policy Formulation, tailored for all the cooperatives registered in our city.

This training equips cooperative officers with the knowledge and skills to develop, review, and implement effective rules and policies that promote good governance, transparency, and accountability. It covers the principles of policy formulation, policy drafting ,and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and the cooperative's bylaws to support sound decision-making and sustainable cooperative growth.

The productive session was attended by 78 representatives from 24 registered cooperatives, all eager to strengthen their organizations and better serve their members.

Empowering local communities through skills training!

The Parañaque Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), in partnership with the Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office (PLRMO), successfully conducted a Free Area-Based Livelihood Training on Perfume Making for the members of Parañaque Doctors Hospital Credit Cooperative.

A total of 27 participants gathered at the 7th Floor, Parañaque Doctors Hospital, Brgy. Don Bosco, Parañaque City, to learn new livelihood skills and explore entrepreneurial opportunities.

The Parañaque Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) and in partnership with Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) successfully conducted the Gender Sensitivity Training tailored for all the cooperatives registered in our city.

Through this activity, the officers were empowered to become advocates of gender , fairness and equality, ensuring that cooperative programs, policies and services remain inclusive, participatory and beneficial to all members regardless of gender.

The productive session was attended by 63 representatives from 20 registered cooperatives, all eager to strengthen their organizations and better serve their members.
