Panitan Fire Station personnel led by SFO3 Carl John D Devesfruto, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, joins the celebration of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week from September 1-7, 2026,
with the theme:
โ€œStrengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communitiesโ€
As part of the celebration, personnel of BFP-Panitan participated in the installation and display of the National Crime Prevention Week banner infront of the Panitan Fire Station.
The BFP- Panitan Fire Station remains committed to working hand-in-hand with partner agencies and the community in promoting public safety, crime prevention, disaster preparedness, and a safer and more resilient community.

Dengue Prevention Campaign

Personnel from the Panitan Fire Station, led by SFO3 Carl John D. Devesfruto, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, participated in the Clean-Up Drive at Panitan Elementary School, as part of a collective effort to prevent the increase and spread of dengue in the community.

Simple cleaning is a significant step toward a safer and healthier community. By removing trash, we help protect the health and safety of our fellow citizens.

The Bureau of Fire Protection continues to support government and community programs aimed at strengthening awareness, discipline, and collective action for the safety and welfare of every citizen.

The duty personnel of Panitan Fire Station Shift A, under the leadership of SFO3 Carl John D Devesfruto, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a Skills Refresher on Basic Rope and Knot Tying.
The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and operational readiness of all personnel in effectively responding to emergencies. It also reinforces the continuing commitment of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to ensure that every firefighter remains well-trained, prepared, alert, and fully capable of delivering prompt and efficient public service.

Ang Duty Guard/Floor Watch ay isang mahalagang tungkulin kung saan ang mga itinalagang kawani ng himpilan ay nananatiling nakaantabay upang subaybayan ang mga komunikasyon, tiyakin ang seguridad ng himpilan, at panatilihin ang kahandaan ng operasyon para sa agarang pagtugon sa anumang insidente o emerhensiya.

Panitan Fire Station Shift A personnel, led by SFO3 Carl John D Devesfruto, responded to a Snake Rescue Operation in Barangay Salocon, Panitan, Capiz

A Reticulated Python (sawa) was successfully captured and turned over to the Panitan Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) for proper care and management.

This operation highlights the Bureau of Fire Protectionโ€™s commitment to protecting the community and supporting wildlife conservation, beyond responding to fire emergencies.
