𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗬 7-9, 2026 | The Provincial Tourism Office, Maguindanao del Sur conducted a Cultural Mapping workshop at Hotel Exandrea in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, followed by field documentation in Barangay Saniag, Municipality of Ampatuan, together with the native Teduray tribe; the Municipal Tourism Office of Pandag is deeply grateful to be part of this meaningful activity, where we learned that the Teduray hold invaluable ancestral wisdom and traditions, and this work is vital to strengthen, protect, and ensure our shared cultural heritage is honored and preserved for generations to come.

Nagdaos ng ikalawang quarterly na pagpupulong ang Provincial Tourism Office, kasama ang Local Culture and Arts Council (LCAC) at Association of Tourism Officers of Maguindanao del Sur (ATOMDS), nitong Hulyo 6, 2026, sa Kalilintad Hall, Provincial Capitol, Maguindanao del Sur.

Dinaluhan ito ng humigit-kumulang 40 kinatawan mula sa iba't ibang tanggapan ng pamahalaan at mga lokal na pamahalaan (LGUs) upang palakasin ang koordinasyon sa pagsusulong ng kultura at turismo sa lalawigan.

Tinalakay sa pulong ang mga estratehiya para sa pagpapaunlad ng turismong nakabatay sa komunidad, pangangalaga sa kultura, pagkilala sa mga natatanging inisyatibo sa turismo, at mga mekanismo sa paglahok sa mga timpalak upang isulong ang mga lokal na produkto at destinasyon. Tinalakay rin ang mahahalagang batas at patakarang sumusuporta sa maayos na pagpapatupad ng mga programang pangkultura at panturismo.

Nagbahagi rin ang mga kinatawan ng iba't ibang munisipalidad ng kanilang mga panukalang proyekto at pinakamahusay na kasanayan sa turismo.

Sa pagtatapos ng pagpupulong, muling pinagtibay ng LCAC at (ATOMDS) ang kanilang pangako na isulong ang inklusibo at napapanatiling turismo para sa Maguindanao del Sur para sa tapat na serbisyong Mapadtimbang.

In Photos: The Provincial Tourism Office of Maguindanao del Sur, under the leadership of Provincial Tourism Officer Ma'am Riselle R. Abo, successfully convened the Joint 2nd Quarter Meeting of the Local Culture and Arts Council (LCAC) and the Association of Tourism Officers of Maguindanao del Sur (ATOMDS) on at Kalilintad Hall, Provincial Capitol, Buluan, with LCAC members also participating via Zoom.

The meeting served as a platform to discuss significant tourism initiatives and updates, including the upcoming ATOP National Tourism Pearl Awards, the presentation and adoption of the ATOMDS Constitution and By-Laws, and updates on the province's Tourism Enterprises, Tourist Attractions, and Tourist Arrivals Database.

The activity reaffirmed the Provincial Tourism Office's commitment to fostering collaboration among tourism stakeholders and local government units in preserving, promoting, and advancing the rich culture, heritage, and tourism destinations of Maguindanao del Sur.
