Day 2 after election: Faith over Fear
We are bombarded with calls since yesterday from different sectors, supporters (local and national) and constituents from Negros Oriental with regard to the Roel and Ruel Degamo votes.

Some asked forgiveness for mistakenly shaded the nuisance candidate, some cried, some are angry and some are worried.

If the votes of Ruel will be transferred to Gov Roel as what happened to the Supreme Court decision to Santos case, Roel gets 32000 more votes than the one proclaimed.

To all our supporters, we are asking you to stay calm and pray. Roel's legal team is now working on it. We believe that the truth and justice will prevail.

I am posting this picture because I believe in the power of democracy and dirty tactics are not our cup of tea.

During the campaign, some supporters would ask me to take down our opponents campaign materials as what they did on their bailwick and other areas. I told them not to because WE ARE NOT LIKE THEM and WILL NEVER BE LIKE THEM. If we do it... "Mura ra pod tag pareho nila". I always tell my supporters to always do what is right because with it you will never go wrong.

Despite of our overwhelming victory in Pamplona, I am saddened for what's happening in our province but I am very optimistic that everything will be alright.

Still, In God We Trust.
