I am an ex royal engineer who was bases in Scotland UK , our role was to make safe areas and build infrastructure for personal. In less time we trained on everything from first aid to demolitions and even boating skills our main job in peacetime was to respond to disasters around the globe using our speed and skills to prevent lose of life . With these skills and a few grey hairs or learning colou
rs I have always had an interest in ecological footprint and what planet earth provides us that seems to have been forgotten by post people , in the Philippines I got frustrated by seeing people have to work in the sun all day to pay for electric fans all night and thought how can I help , help is simple I will build an eco home from mud clay sand and straw all natural materials that reflect the sun and so not retain the heat of the sun So no need for fans and air con . Then I met a decent man with the same mind set and determination as I have who also wanted o help but in a different way , he provided health care and responds to disasters to put in place things like water supply and much needed items that are lost in disasters. The green heart Foundation and I are like two sides on a coin that have come together to explore eco build homes to help with housing and emergency shelter . We have many plans in future and hope that you enjoy following what we do as well as get involved in learning how it is done so that you can pass these skills on to others . Modern homes in the future will not be made from chemicals that make your family sick they will be made from nature and nature will reduce your monthly costings , learn from what's been done for thousands if years around the world such as the great wall of China, the pyramids of Egypt and many more structures that still stand thousands of years later.
