Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10121, otherwise known as the "Act Strengthening the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System" local Executive Order no. 2011-010 and as amended by Ordinance No 2014-010. The office is mainly located at the 1st Floor, Heroes Hall Building, Magdalena Subdivision, San Juan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga and operates on a 24 hour/7 day basis. The office c

onsist of the CDRRM Officer, 1 Medical Director, 37 Personnel (SAFRU, CCTV Command Control and Radio Room Unit)

The CDRRM Office is responsible for setting the direction, development, implementation and coordination of disaster risk management programs within the territorial jurisdiction of the city under the policy, direction and guidance of 37 CRRM Council Members chaired by the LCE. The CDRRMO also organize, train and directly supervise the city emergency response teams and the accredited community disaster volunteers. The San Fernando Rescue Unit or SAFRU the response arm of the CDRRMO was founded on June 2012 with the city government providing series of specialized trainings/seminars to arm personnel in providing prompt action and organized tactical strategies for the ex*****on of an effective and efficient emergency response e.g. search, rescue, relief, evacuation, and rehabilitation assistance to the citizens of the city in times of natural or human-induced disasters and calamities. The SAFRU is equipped with DRRM PPE’s, tools, equipment and vehicles and guided by a medical director during emergency medical operations.

ASSOCIATED HAZARD: Possible FLOODING in flood-prone areas.

Meanwhile, expect light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over Tarlac, Pampanga(Santo Tomas, Apalit, Arayat, Candaba, Magalang, Mexico, San Luis, San Simon, Santa Ana, San Fernando, Angeles, Mabalacat), Cavite(Ternate, Maragondon, Magallanes, Naic, Tanza), Batangas(Nasugbu, Lian, Tuy, Balayan, Calatagan) and Bulacan(Calumpit, Hagonoy, Paombong, Malolos, Pulilan, Plaridel, Baliuag, Bulakan, Guiguinto) within the next 3 hours.

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affecting Zambales(Cabangan, Botolan) which may persist within 3 hours and may affect nearby areas.

Based on the weather observations and analyses, occasional to frequent rains associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) have been observed over the past five days. This signifies the onset of the rainy season across the western sections of Luzon and the Visayas.

However, monsoon breaks may still occur and last for several days or weeks.
