LGU Pambujan Joins Ibabao Agri-Tourism Trade Fair 2026

Under the leadership of Mayor Owen Lamberto L. Siervo, LGU Pambujan proudly joins the Ibabao Agri-Tourism Trade Fair from June 8–17, 2026 at the Capitol Grounds as part of the Ibabao Festival celebration.

Inspired by a vibrant flea market concept, our booth showcases local agricultural products, delicacies, and exhibits featuring Pambujan's tourism destinations, particularly its potential geosites, including Caoahagan, Pambujan River, and Nalucaban Peatland. Built with bamboo, a native pawod roof, and recycled materials, the booth reflects our commitment to preserving culture while promoting sustainability.

Special thanks to the MENRO, Tourism, GSO and MAO personnel, and everyone who contributed to making this project possible.

𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲: 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗷𝗮𝗻 & 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗨𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆

Despite challenging weather conditions, the LGU of Pambujan, together with its partner agencies, successfully conducted the Ugnayan sa Barangay on June 2, 2026, in the interior barangays of Igot and Cagbigajo. Personnel from various municipal offices and partner agencies braved the journey to ensure that residents could access essential government services and programs without having to travel far from their communities.

Mayor Owen Lamberto L. Siervo personally led the activity, reaffirming the local government's commitment to making public services more accessible to every Pambujanon. Through Ugnayan sa Barangay, residents were able to avail themselves of various services and receive information on programs offered by both the local and national governments.

Since assuming office, Mayor Siervo has continuously advocated and implemented community-based service initiatives such as Ugnayan sa Barangay, recognizing the importance of reaching even the most remote communities and ensuring that no Pambujanon is left behind in accessing government assistance and opportunities.

The success of this activity reflects the dedication of government workers and partner agencies in serving the people, rain or shine, and highlights the shared commitment to bringing meaningful services directly to the barangays.

The Local Government Unit of Pambujan, led by Mayor Owen Lamberto L. Siervo, extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participating individuals, partner agencies, and municipal departments for their unwavering commitment to public service. Special thanks are likewise extended to the Barangay Officials of Barangay Igot and Barangay Cagbigajo for their support, cooperation, and hospitality, which greatly contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.

Featured Competitions:

• 𝙆𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙖 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧-𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡)
• 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙬 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙤𝙧𝙮) – participating groups must have a minimum of six (6) members and a maximum of sixteen (16) members. Each performance must not exceed five (5) minutes.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 || The Nalucaban Kids proudly received the Silver Medal in Secondary Baseball during the Awarding Ceremonies of the Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan del Sur.

One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony was seeing the team proudly raise and display the "Nalucaban Kids" banner on the awarding stage. It was a simple yet powerful statement: they know where they came from, and they are proud of it.

More than just a baseball team, the Nalucaban Kids have become a brand and a symbol of excellence, perseverance, and community pride. Their journey continues to inspire young athletes and prove that even a small community can produce great athletes when it believes in its people, stays united, and invests in their dreams.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 || The Opening Ceremonies of the Pambujan Inter-Barangay Summer Volleyball Tournament 2026 were successfully held yesterday, June 1, 2026.

The tournament is organized by the Pambujan Hitters led by Sir Rey Esternon Jr., in partnership with SK Federation President Brent Jessan Sosing and the Local Government Unit of Pambujan under the leadership of Mayor Owen Lamberto L. Siervo.

During the opening program, Municipal Administrator Moises S. Balanquit represented Mayor Siervo and delivered the Mayor's message, expressing support for the tournament that promote youth engagement, camaraderie, and community unity.

Best of luck to all participating teams as they showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

The Officials and Employees of the Local Government Unit of Pambujan, Northern Samar, under the leadership of Mayor Owen Lamberto L. Siervo and Vice Mayor Felipe A. Sosing, congratulate the Nalucaban Kids for their remarkable Silver Medal finish in the Palarong Pambansa Secondary Baseball Competition.

Being Palarong Pambansa Silver Medalists and recent Philippine Series Third Placers is a testament that the Nalucaban Baseball Program is among the best in the country.

LOOK || Eastern Visayas once again earned a recognition for its outstanding efforts in promoting health equity, receiving the Outstanding Regional Performance in Health Equity award for the PuroKalusugan and Support to Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) Programs during the recent recognition ceremonies held at Eastwoods Richmond Hotel on May 28, 2026.

The prestigious recognition symbolizes teamwork, compassion, and the collective commitment of health workers across the region in addressing healthcare gaps and improving access to basic health services in communities.

Adding pride to Northern Samar, the region’s Gold Citation for Poster Submission was anchored on “Oplan Maretis,” an innovative maternal health initiative conceptualized by Marlou Basista, a nurse from the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Pambujan.

Although the recognition was awarded to Eastern Visayas as a region, the people of Pambujan take pride in the fact that the program innovation originated from one of its own healthcare workers. “Oplan Maretis” highlighted community-driven strategies on early pregnancy detection, maternal monitoring, and timely prenatal care, particularly implemented in Barangay Ginulgan, Pambujan, Northern Samar.

The initiative also recognized the invaluable contributions of the health workers of Pambujan and the Barangay Health Workers of Brgy. Ginulgan, whose dedication and active community engagement became instrumental in the success of the program.

The recognition serves as proof that innovative ideas rooted in grassroots public health service can create meaningful impact in addressing health inequities and improving maternal healthcare outcomes in underserved communities.

Indeed, the achievement is not only a victory for Eastern Visayas, but also a proud moment for the Municipality of Pambujan and its healthcare frontliners who continue to serve with dedication and excellence.

The Nalucaban Kids of Pambujan, Northern Samar have officially advanced to their first-ever Finals appearance in the Palarong Pambansa Secondary Baseball Tournament after more or less 40 years!

Your determination, teamwork, and fighting spirit continue to inspire every Pambujanon.

As they prepare for the Championship Game tomorrow, let us all unite in prayer and support for our boys as they carry the hopes and pride of Pambujan and Eastern Visayas onto the field.
