Engaging with local officials and residents, they discussed various safety measures, crime prevention strategies, and the importance of maintaining peace and order.

Their dedication in fostering a closer relationship with the community is truly commendable.

Isinagawa ng mga kapulisan ng 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company, sa pangunguna ni PMSg Andy Santiago, at sa ilalim ng direktang pamamahala ni PLTCOL EDWIN M OLOAN JR, Force Commander, ang isang Pulong-Pulong sa mga residente ng Brgy. Burabod, Laoang, Northern Samar ngayong araw, ika-04 ng Hunyo, 2026.

Ang gawaing ito ay isa sa mga hakbang ng 2nd NSPMFC upang labanan ang kriminalidad at mapataas ang kamalayan ng mga mamamayan hinggil sa iba’t ibang paraan o modus operandi ng mga kriminal. Nagsilbi rin ang pulong-pulong bilang daan upang mas makilala ang hanay ng kapulisan at magsilbing tulay ng pagkakaibigan at pagtutulungan sa pagitan ng pulisya at ng mamamayan.

The personnel of 2nd NSPMFC led by PMSg Andy Santiago, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL EDWIN M OLOAN JR, Force Commander, conducted Information Drive through Distribution of IEC Materials and Dialogue at Brgy Burabod, Laoang, Northern Samar, today, June 04, 2026.

Engaging with local residents, they discussed regarding the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC), Anti-Drugs Campaign and Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), important safety tips, crime prevention strategies, and encouraged active participation in maintaining peace and order.

By fostering community engagement and sharing valuable information, the PNP is dedicated in building a safer and more informed community.

Catubig LGU Extends Assistance to Former Rebels Under the Care of 2nd NSPMFC

The 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company, under the leadership of PLTCOL EDWIN M OLOAN JR, Force Commander, expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Catubig, Northern Samar, headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Solomon G. Vicencio, for providing ₱5,000.00 cash assistance each to two former rebels during a distribution activity held, today, June 4, 2026.

The assistance is intended to support the former rebels as they continue their reintegration and transition toward becoming productive members of society. It also reflects the LGU’s commitment in promoting peace, development, and inclusive governance within the community.

PLTCOL OLOAN emphasized the importance of strong collaboration among local government units, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders in ensuring the successful reintegration of former rebels.

“We sincerely thank the LGU of Catubig for its continued support. Through strong partnerships, we can help former rebels rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society while promoting lasting peace and development in our communities,” PLTCOL OLOAN stated.

This initiative supports the government’s peace and reintegration efforts under the Whole-of-Nation Approach and the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP), which aims to help former rebels start anew and build a better future.

Ayon sa Army, ang mga nasabat na kagamitan ay gagamitin sa terorismo at hadlangan ang pag-unlad sa mga komunidad.

Anila, ito ay patunay na sa tulong at tiwala ng mamamayan, tuluyang napuputol ang daluyan ng suporta at paggalaw ng mga rebelde, na nagiging susi sa kanilang tuluyang pagguho.

NSPPO Intensifies Anti-Criminality Campaigns; Eight Wanted Persons Arrested, Fi****ms Surrendered, Drug Suspect Nabbed

CAMP CARLOS DELGADO, CATARMAN, NORTHERN SAMAR – The Northern Samar Police Provincial Office under the leadership of Provincial Director, PCOL GEORGE B BUYACAO JR, sustained its anti-criminality efforts through intensified law enforcement operations conducted across the province from May 27 to June 3, 2026.

Under the Campaign Against Wanted Persons, police units conducted eight operations that resulted in the arrest of eight wanted persons, including two Most Wanted Persons and six Other Wanted Persons. Among those arrested were the Municipal-Level Rank No. 9 wanted person of Lope de Vega for Grave Coercion and violation of the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009, and the Municipal-Level Rank No. 1 wanted person for Qualified Theft.

Other arrests involved cases of illegal logging, Acts of Lasciviousness, illegal numbers game, violence against women and children, dangerous drugs, and illegal gambling.

In the Campaign Against Illegal Drugs, Catarman MPS arrested one drug suspect identified as a Street-Level Individual (SLI) and confiscated suspected illegal drugs.

Meanwhile, personnel of Lavezares MPS and Laoang MPS facilitated the voluntary surrender of two revolvers under the Campaign Against Loose Fi****ms.

Under the Campaign Against Illegal Gambling, Silvino Lobos MPS conducted one operation that led to the filing of charges against suspects who remain at large and the confiscation of bet money.

PCOL BUYACAO commended the operating units for their dedication and reaffirmed NSPPO's commitment to intensifying operations against all forms of criminality.

"NSPPO will continue to intensify operations against wanted persons, illegal drugs, illegal gambling, and other criminal activities to keep Northern Samar safe and secure," said PCOL BUYACAO.
