Last February 19, 2026, at the PIT Gymnasium, 𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗣 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 2𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. The officers presented their accomplishments and financial reports, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 within the organization.

The assembly also included a brief discussion on the updated departmental rules and regulations to ensure that every Marine Engineering student remains guided and well-informed.

Together, we continue to uphold 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 as future marine engineers. 🚢💙

In this reel, Engr. Jason Cristhopher Creo, a proud PIT Marine Engineering Batch 14 alumnus, shares an inspiring message from the shores of the Pacific Ocean—reminding future cadets that while dreams may be wide and limitless, they are never impossible to achieve. 🚢

The outreach program, titled 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗘 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗣 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 2026, was carried out under the theme “𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵, 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀.”

PIT’s AMESOP, together with the Guidance Officer and Coordinators 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗟. 𝗣𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 and 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗔𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗣. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻, and 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗔. 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗿., Marine Engineering Instructor, visited five selected high schools sequentially: Taberna National High School (TaNHS), Alfredo Parilla National High School (APNHS), Palompon National High School (PNHS), Northern Leyte College (NLC), and Colegio de San Francisco Javier (CSFJ).

The sessions consisted of an 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 for incoming freshmen at PIT.

AMESOP also extends its sincere gratitude to the resource speaker for their time, expertise, and valuable insights shared during the activity. Their dedication and willingness to guide and inspire the students greatly contributed to the success of this outreach program.

As part of the January Tree Awareness efforts, AMESOP successfully conducted a one-day 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 at PIT Main Campus, January 31, 2026.

This initiative supports the environmental and emission-reduction goals of 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗟 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘅 𝗩𝗜: 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 and 𝗦𝗗𝗚 13: 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

With the support and collaboration of the 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻 – 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 20 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 were cultivated and planted in the designated areas identified by PIT’s 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗜𝗣𝗗𝗢).

The Supreme Student Government (SSG) is launching a Donation Drive to extend immediate help and support to the affected PITnians in the recent fire incident in Brgy. Mazawalo, Palompon, Leyte.

This unfortunate incident has caused displacement and loss of essential belongings, greatly affecting the daily lives, well-being, and academic activities of our fellow PIT community members.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆, the AMESOP Officers and Marine Engineering Faculty joyfully distributed gifts and essential goods to our beneficiaries. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁, as the community welcomed us with open arms and genuine warmth. This continuation of Songs of Joy, Gifts of Love reminds us that the greatest gift we can offer is presence, compassion, and unity.
