As part of its continuing advocacy for procurement transparency, accountability, and institutional learning, the DepEd SDO Leyte Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) proudly distributed to all personnel a special issuance of the Leyte Light Publication entitled:

This special publication highlights the significant milestones, innovations, reforms, and best practices of the Schools Division Office of Leyte in strengthening procurement systems in line with Republic Act No. 12009 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
Featured in the publication are:
โ๏ธ procurement transparency initiatives;
โ๏ธ orientation activities on the New Government Procurement Act;
โ๏ธ live-streamed procurement conferences;
โ๏ธ establishment of the Procurement Transparency and Conferencing Center (PTCC);
โ๏ธ institutionalization of the Procurement Management and Tracking System (PMTS);
โ๏ธ compliance initiatives on procurement planning and implementation; and
โ๏ธ stories of collaboration among BAC, end-users, TWG, Secretariat, and partner offices.
