The Womenโs Trade Fair 2026 successfully showcased MSME products from across Eastern Visayas, generating strong market engagement and sales performance. The event exceeded expectations, highlighting the growing competitiveness of women-led enterprises in the region.
From March 26โ29, 2026, at Robinsons Place Tacloban City, local womenpreneurs achieved a total of โฑ4,231,155 in sales. The Guiuan Integrated Micro Entrepreneurs Association (GIMEA) stood out as the top seller in the food sector, offering a diverse range of delicacies from Guiuan, Eastern Samar. While food products remained the primary revenue driver, homestyle and decorative items also captured strong consumer interest. Natyโs Antique Shop earned recognition as the top seller in the non-food sector with its crafted hardwood furniture.
The fair was a resounding success - surpassing targets and reinforcing the vital role of trade fairs in driving MSME growth, expanding market access, recognizing the significant contribution of women in the economy, and fueling regional development.
