SECOND QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL
June 18, 2026 | 9:00 A.M.

The Barangay Disaster Risks Reduction and Management Council of Pasaleng, encourages all residents, households, and community stakeholders to actively participate in the Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.

Upon hearing the Barangay Multi-Hazard Siren sounding continuously for one (1) minute, everyone is advised to immediately perform the life-saving action:

🟠 DUCK – Get down to avoid being knocked over.
🟠 COVER – Take shelter under a sturdy table or desk and protect your head and neck.
🟠 HOLD – Hold on until the shaking stops.

Your participation helps strengthen our preparedness and resilience against earthquakes and other disasters. Let us work together to keep our families and community safe.

Be alert. Be prepared. Be earthquake ready!

PUBLIC HEARING | BARANGAY DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 07-2026

The Sangguniang Barangay of Pasaleng successfully conducted a Public Hearing on the proposed Barangay Draft Ordinance No. 07-2026, entitled:
“An Ordinance Strictly Implementing the Proper Disposal of Diapers in All Households as Part of the Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) Program of Barangay Pasaleng, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte,” sponsored by Hon. Arnel G. Aluag.

Held on June 06, 2026, the public hearing provided an avenue for residents and stakeholders to express their views, comments, and recommendations regarding the proposed measure. The ordinance aims to promote proper waste disposal practices, safeguard public health, and strengthen the Barangay's commitment to environmental sanitation and the attainment of a Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) community.

The Sangguniang Barangay extends its sincere appreciation to all participants and residents whose active involvement contributes to responsive and people-centered local legislation.

In full support of our little ones, the Barangay Government of Pasaleng, led by our dedicated Punong Barangay Jimuel C. Palima, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Tanod and Barangay Nutrition Scholars, successfully conducted "Oplan Dalus" today at the Pasaleng Child Development Center! 🧹✨

This cleanup and maintenance drive is our counterpart for the "Bayanihan Bulilit 2026" initiative, ensuring that our daycare children have a clean, safe, and welcoming environment as they start their early education journey.
