βSNAKE AWARENESS, PROPER HANDLING & SNAKEBITE MANAGEMENT TRAININGβ
IN PHOTOS|| Under the leadership of FCSUPT RENATO B CAPUZ, DSC, Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 4A, and FSUPT AURELIO E ZALUN, DSC, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, Quezon Province. The Pagbilao Fire Station, led by FSINSP ATTY. RANDY B BACONAWA, Municipal Fire Marshal, was represented by FO1 ADAN and FO1 VALENCIA during the Snake Awareness, Proper Handling & Snakebite Management Training held at the New City Hall Building, Barangay Baguio, Tayabas City, Quezon.
The one-day training, conducted by the Tayabas City Environment and Natural Resources Office by in partnership with Wildlife Matters, provided participants with essential knowledge on snake identification, snake behavior, first aid, proper handling, and appropriate response to snakebite incidents.
The activity also featured an actual demonstration on the proper handling of snakes, including the Reticulated Python (Sawa) and Philippine Brown Rat Snake.
