“Serbisyong Tapat at Sapat” in Action: SDO Quezon Leaders Strengthen Support for CALABARZON Athletes at Palarong Pambansa 2026
AGUSAN DEL SUR — In a strong display of committed educational leadership and unwavering support for student-athletes, the key officials of the Schools Division Office of Quezon conducted a series of venue visits, monitoring activities, and morale-boosting engagements during the weeklong Palarong Pambansa 2026, also known as “Palaro tu AgSur,” held from May 24–31, 2026.
Leading the delegation was Schools Division Superintendent Rommel Bautista, together with Assistant Schools Division Superintendents Roselyn Golfo, Lorena Walangsumbat, and Aris Barrago. They were joined by CID Chief Walter Galarosa, SGOD Chief Juanito Merle, and Education Program Supervisor Asuncion Ilao in visiting various billeting quarters, competition venues, and athlete support areas across Agusan del Sur.
Throughout the monitoring activities from May 24 to 27, the officials personally checked the condition, welfare, readiness, and morale of the Quezon and CALABARZON delegates participating in different sporting events. Their presence brought encouragement not only to athletes and coaches, but also to the technical working groups and support personnel tirelessly serving behind the scenes.
At the forefront of the operational management of the delegation is EPS for MAPEH and Division Sports Officer Jay Alfaro, whose steadfast coordination, close supervision, and dedicated management efforts have significantly contributed to the smooth implementation of the division’s participation in the national games. His leadership continues to ensure that athletes, coaches, and delegates receive the support, guidance, and coordination necessary throughout the competition period.
The visit likewise reflected the battlecry and guiding principle of the division — “Serbisyong Tapat at Sapat” — a commitment that resonates deeply in the way SDO Quezon leaders continuously extend genuine service, responsive leadership, and meaningful support to both learners and personnel. More than a monitoring activity, the engagement became a manifestation of compassionate leadership grounded in presence, solidarity, and shared purpose.
As the games continue, the SDO Quezon delegation remains united in championing not only athletic excellence, but also the values of discipline, teamwork, resilience, and regional pride — carrying with them the enduring spirit of CALABARZON and the unwavering commitment of Quezon educators to every learner’s success.
