|| Nakiisa ang FPA Zamboanga Peninsula sa Rice Program Convergence Meeting noong Setyembre 3โ€“4, 2026 sa Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, na dinaluhan ng humigit-kumulang 60 kinatawan mula sa mga katuwang na ahensya, Municipal Agriculturists, at Rice Agricultural Technicians.

Ibinahagi ng FPA ang mga programa at aktibidad nito bilang suporta sa National Rice Program, kabilang ang monitoring at inspection, price monitoring, stakeholdersโ€™ forums, at mga training at accreditation activities. Binigyang-diin din ang kahalagahan ng Information Caravan on the Safe and Judicious Use of Fertilizer and Pesticide for Drone Application bilang suporta sa ligtas at responsableng paggamit ng drone technology sa rice production.

Sa pamamagitan ng convergence meeting, higit na pinagtibay ang koordinasyon ng FPA at mga katuwang na ahensya para sa mas produktibo, sustainable, at responsableng produksyon ng palay.

In accordance with the principles of transparency and participatory governance, the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority hereby invites all concerned stakeholders and members of the public to participate in the consultation on this draft issuance

The proposed issuance aims to establish safeguards for online selling and digital commercial activities involving regulated agricultural inputs, strengthen monitoring and enforcement, promote traceability and accountability, and protect farmers, consumers, public health, and the environment.

The FPA encourages representatives from national government agencies, local government units, health institutions, academe, agricultural stakeholders, online sellers, digital platforms, logistics providers, consumer groups, and other interested parties to review the draft issuance and submit their comments, inputs, and recommendations.

|| Nakiisa ang FPA Zamboanga Peninsula bilang resource speaker sa Digital Farmers Program โ€“ FarmTech Package Batch 2 na isinagawa ng ATI Zamboanga Peninsula noong Agosto 24โ€“28, 2026 sa Ipil, Zamboanga del Sur.

Binigyang-diin ng FPA ang kahalagahan ng wastong pamamahala ng abono at pestisidyo kasabay ng paggamit ng mga digital technology sa pagsasaka.

Ipinaalala rin sa mga kalahok ang kahalagahan ng pagsunod sa pesticide at fertilizer labels, tamang dosage, kondisyon ng panahon, calibration, paggamit ng personal protective equipment, at iba pang safety requirements. Tinalakay rin ang wastong paghawak, paglalapat, pag-iimbak, at pagtatapon ng abono at pestisidyo, gayundin ang Insecticide Resistance Management (IRM).

Sa pamamagitan ng pagsasanay, higit na napalalakas ang kakayahan ng mga magsasaka at kabataang interesado sa agrikultura na gamitin ang makabagong teknolohiya nang may sapat na kaalaman. Sa pagsasama ng digital tools, precision agriculture, at responsableng pamamahala ng agricultural inputs, patuloy na isinusulong ang mas episyente, ligtas, at sustainable na pagsasaka.

|| Nagsagawa ang FPA Zamboanga Peninsula ng โ€œInformation Caravan on the Safe and Judicious Use of Fertilizer and Pesticide for Drone Applicationโ€ noong Agosto 27, 2026 sa Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.

Dinaluhan ito ng mahigit 300 rice farmers, mga kawani ng DA RFO-9, Municipal Agriculture Office, at mga stakeholder mula sa industriya ng abono at pestisidyo.

Tinalakay sa aktibidad ang mga batas at regulasyon ng FPA, wastong paggamit ng agricultural inputs, at mga benepisyo ng precision agriculture sa pagpapataas ng kalidad ng mga ani at pangangalaga sa kapaligiran. Binigyang-diin din sa talakayan ang ligtas, wasto, at responsableng paggamit ng abono at pestisidyo gamit ang drone technology.

Bahagi ng aktibidad ang magsagawa ng drone demonstration upang maipakita ang wastong paggamit nito at mga tamang application techniques. Kasabay nito ipinaliwanag din ang mga kapakinabangan ng mga makabagong teknolohiyang gaya ng drone pagsasaka.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga information caravan at praktikal na demonstrasyon, patuloy na pinapalawak ng FPA ang kaalaman ng mga magsasaka sa ligtas at responsableng paggamit ng agricultural inputs at sa mga makabagong pamamaraan para sa mas episyenteng pagsasaka.
