6 March 2021 | 69 beneficiaries to undergo Driving NC II under Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) of TESDA and in partnership with the Legislative Office of Senator Ronaldo 'Bato' Dela Rosa participated in the Training Induction Program on March 5, 2021 at Balangasan Covered Court, Pagadian City.

Mr. Obet Villacura represented Sen. Bato being the proponent of the allocation. He mentioned that the training is an opportunity especially in this time of pandemic to acquire skills, likewise he encouraged them to enroll in agriculture related qualifications to sustain food security in times of crises.

Meanwhile, Supervising TESD Specialist Maria Fronie M. Dalid represented TESDA IX Regional Director Dan M. Navarro to present TESDA programs and services. Provincial Scholarships focal Ms. Mercedita B. Rabe outlined the implementing guidelines of TWSP.

Present in the occasion were Hon. Imelda V. Azucenas, Brgy. Captain of Balangasan, City Councilor Vincenzo Capampang representing City Mayor Samuel Co and Ms. Marilou L. Fuentes convenor of Sen. Bato Dela Rosa.

Said beneficiaries will be trained for 118 hours by Provincial Training Center - Pagadian and are entitled to training allowances such as Internet, healh/PPE and daily living allowance, to include free training and free assessment.

31 March 2021 | Another batch of graduates in Bread Making (leading to BPP NC II) and Bread and Pastry Production NC II under 2019 Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) received their Starter Toolkits during the Distribution Program held earlier at the LGU-Labangan Convention Center Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.

Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Administrator Joefe P. Suson represented both the Deputy Speaker/ 1st District Representative Divina Grace C. Yu and Hon. Gov. Victor J. Yu to motivate the recipients in engaging in entrepreneurial activities now that the much awaited Toolkits were already in their posession.

Meanwhile, Supervising TESD Specialist Maria Fronie M. Dalid represented TESDA ZDS PD Alan T. Bacatan to ensure that these toolkits will be used accordingly. She also extended the gratitude to the graduates, provider-SDR College of Technology, Inc., LGU-Labangan for their support to TESD programs as well as to the Deputy Speaker Divina Yu and Gov. Victor Yu being the proponent and advocate of workforce development in the province.

SDR College of Technology, Inc. trained a total of 42 Women in Gabunon, Tambulig and Pulacan, Labangan respectively.

TESDA Zamboanga del Sur conducted ocular inspection on March 29, 2021 at Datagan, Guipos (last barangay at the boundary of Guipos and Tigbao) as one of the identified priority barangays for PRLEC to establish self-reliant and sustainable programs in their community.

27 March 2021 | 184 beneficiaries of 2019 Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) received their toolkits earlier today at Guipos, Zamboanga del Sur.

34 were trained in Bread Making provided by Molave Agri-Industrial Technology, Inc. (MAITI); 50 in Carpentry NC II, 50 in Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II conducted at Tigbao and Dinas by Provincial Training Center-Pagadian while 50 beneficiaries completed Bread and Pastry Production NC II implemented at Guipos by Eastern Mindanao College of Techology (EMCOTECH).

Present during the distribution were Guipos Mayor Vicente Cajeta, Engr. Jack Tambulero representing District 2 Representative Leonardo Babasa, Jr., Supervising TESD Specialist Maria Fronie M. Dalid representing Provincial Director Alan T. Bacatan, Dr. Filomena Montealto and staff of EMCOTECH, MAITI, Provincial Office and Training Center personnel.

Toolkits were part of the scholars' benefits to stir up entrepreneurial activities in their respective locality.

26 March 2021 | 153 𝒃𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 2019 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 (𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑷) in a series of distribution conducted last March 19-24, 2021 in the province.

75 were graduates in Support Horticultural Crops Production at Kauswagan, Tambulig provided by Saniel Integrated Farm Training and Business School, Inc. while 78 of them completed their skills training in Bread and Pastry Production NC II implemented by Our Lady of Triumph -Pagadian in the municipalities of Aurora, Dumalinao, Lapuyan and Pagadian City.

Said toolkits were part of the benefits being a TESDA-STEP scholar.

Emosyonal na ibinahagi ni Jeanybabe Villasis, mula sa Bulawan, Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur ang malaking pagbabago sa kanyang pamumuhay bilang ordinaryong Housewife na ngayon ay HOME BAKER na mula ng makapagtapos siya bilang TESDA Scholar ng Bread and Pastry Production NC II sa tulong ng Special Training for Employment Program.

Ito ay kanyang isiniwalat noong nakaraang Miyerkules, March 24, 2021, sa programang inilaan para sa pamamahagi ng Starter Toolkits sa kanilang barangay. Nagpasalamat si Jeanybabe sa oportunidad na ipinagkaloob ng gobyerno, lalo na sa mga kababaihang tulad niya.

Kanya ring inanyayahan ang mga nanay na sumali sa katulad na programa ng TESDA.
