The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Regional Office IX, under the leadership of 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 π€πŒπ€πƒπŽ 𝐀 π‚πŽππ‚π„ππ‚πˆπŽπ, 𝐉𝐑, 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐄, joins the nation in the observance of the πŸ‘πŸπ§π 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐚π₯ π‚π«π’π¦πž 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐒𝐨𝐧 π–πžπžπ€, from September 1–7, 2026.

Anchored on the theme, β€œπ‘†π‘‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘›π‘”π‘‘β„Žπ‘’π‘›π‘–π‘›π‘” πΆπ‘–π‘£π‘–π‘™π‘–π‘Žπ‘› π‘‚π‘£π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘ π‘–π‘”β„Žπ‘‘ π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ πΆπ‘œπ‘™π‘™π‘’π‘π‘‘π‘–π‘£π‘’ π΄π‘π‘‘π‘–π‘œπ‘› π‘“π‘œπ‘Ÿ π‘†π‘Žπ‘“π‘’π‘Ÿ πΆπ‘œπ‘šπ‘šπ‘’π‘›π‘–π‘‘π‘–π‘’π‘ ,” the week-long observance underscores the importance of strengthened civilian participation, collaboration, and collective action in promoting peace, public safety, and secure communities.
