May 26, 2025, the ๐ƒ๐„๐๐€๐‘๐“๐Œ๐„๐๐“ ๐Ž๐… ๐‹๐€๐๐Ž๐‘ ๐€๐๐ƒ ๐„๐Œ๐๐‹๐Ž๐˜๐Œ๐„๐๐“ (DOLE) Zamboanga del Sur Field Office successfully conducted the turnover of livelihood kits to selected five (5) PDLs from (PCJMD) and two (2) beneficiaries from (PCJFD) as part of its continuing support for the welfare and rehabilitation of PDLs. The said activity was also graced by the presence of ๐‰๐‚๐ˆ๐๐’๐ ๐๐Ž๐‘๐๐„๐‘๐“๐Ž ๐ƒ ๐๐€๐๐€ ๐•, Acting Jail Warden of Pagadian City Jail Male Dormitory, together with ๐‰๐ˆ๐๐’๐ ๐‘๐”๐„๐‹ ๐… ๐‚๐€๐“๐ˆ๐๐Ž๐†, Chief Welfare and Development, and ๐’๐‰๐Ž๐Ÿ‘ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž๐ง ๐‘. ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐š, Acting Jail Warden of Pagadian City Jail Female Dormitory.

The successful turnover of livelihood kits reflects the governmentโ€™s commitment to providing hope, livelihood opportunities, and sustainable support for PDL beneficiaries, while promoting rehabilitation, productivity, and self-sufficiency.

An event that highlights the baking competencies of the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), as they proudly showcased their specially crafted baked products developed through skills training and livelihood programs inside the facility.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of partner agencies to support rehabilitation, skills development, and empowerment of PDLs, paving the way for their positive transformation and reintegration into society.

May 25, 2026, a grand launching of Bread Project ๐Ÿ‘๐‘ฉโ€™๐’” (๐‘ฉ๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’… ๐‘ฉ๐’†๐’š๐’๐’๐’… ๐‘ฉ๐’‚๐’“๐’”) was conducted at JH Cerilles State College, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST Regional Office No. IX), Pagadian City Jail Male Dormitory - BJMPR9, and other invited agencies.

The said activity promotes not only baked products specially made by the skilled Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) of PCJMD under the leadership of ๐‰๐‚๐ˆ๐๐’๐ ๐๐Ž๐‘๐๐„๐‘๐“๐Ž ๐ƒ. ๐๐€๐๐€ ๐•, Acting Jail Warden, but also highlights the importance of rehabilitation, empowerment, and livelihood development within the facility.

The program serves as a platform for the PDLs to showcase their talents and skills in baking while encouraging self-worth, productivity, and preparation for reintegration into society. It also reflects the strong collaboration among partner agencies in supporting sustainable livelihood and transformational programs for the welfare of the PDLs.

May 25, 2026, as part of the continuous support in highlighting the baking skills and capabilities of our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), the (DOST Regional Office No. IX), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and JH Cerilles State College officially launched the Project Bread Products or ๐Ÿ‘๐โ€™๐ฌ โ€œ๐“‘๐“ป๐“ฎ๐“ช๐“ญ ๐“‘๐“ฎ๐”‚๐“ธ๐“ท๐“ญ ๐“‘๐“ช๐“ป๐“ผ.โ€
