UPDATES ON THE EFFORTS OF THE VARIOUS GROUPS OF PI SIGMA ALUMNI REGARDING YOLANDA RELIEF DRIVE:

In an emergency meeting of the Manila-based alumni last Sunday night, called for by brods Atty. Tom Uribe and attended by Noel Silan (current PSFFAI President), Peter Gonzales (current Chairman of the PSFAAI, Inc.), brods Ghar Pagaspas, Brods Dindo Cervantes, Jon Jamora, Marco Sambrano, and Dr. Ferdie Lllanes, and Sisses Tina and Atty. Pearl, it was decided that several avenues will be pursued.

We are calling all Pi Sigma and Pi Sigma Delta alumni and residents to concentrate their support - both material, financial, or physical - to the following actions of the brods and sisses:

1. Let's all support the relief efforts of the AdHoc group of LAW PROFESSORS coming from UP, ARELLANO U., LYCEUM, DE LA SALLE, and SAN SEBASTIAN coordinated by ATTY. CRISOSTOMO URIBE. They are currently accepting donations in kind, preferably in cash too. They will have a convoy of two trucks going to Leyte. Initially, the drop off point will be at Tunga, then the Distribution of relief goods will be at two identified neighboring towns. Brod Tom is requesting the presence of at least 5 Sigmans (residents and alumni) to join the convoy, for them to have actual physical equity for the relief drive. Nurses, Doctors, and other medical technicians who are brods and sisses are much welcomed!

All brods and sisses are urgently invited to support this group.

This is a particular request since the RORO transportation can be arranged and given special arrangement c/o Brod Peter Gonzales. The resident brods from Diliman have pitched in by volunteering to help in packaging relief goods last Friday night in T. Sora, Q.C. They were led by brod Dexter Calizar.

We are sharing these to remind all of us to live up to our principles.
