Residents of Brgy. Tangkaan witnessed a remarkable event when a mother turtle laid her eggs along the shore, where numerous boats were docked. Recently, as the eggs began to hatch, one resident carefully collected over 100 baby turtles from the nest, leaving a few unhatched eggs behind. On the same day, the baby turtles were released back into the wild, accompanied by Sir Cesar M. Tinambacan, our Municipal Agriculturist; Sir Joel Lacerna, his staff; Sir Alvin Bernales, our Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer; the Brgy. Tangkaan council members; and the lifeguard of Tangkaan Beach. This beautiful moment highlighted our community's dedication to protecting local wildlife and promoting marine conservation awareness.

Are you ready to unveil your talents and creativeness in making audio/videos? Join the Municipal Tourism Audio/Video making contest and get the chance to win cash prizes.

As launch the "Tourism Audio/Video Jingle-Making Contest 90 Seconds SOULeyte Tourism Video Challenge" this is your chance to stand out your expertise and talents as a filmmaker.

MECHANICS:

Contest 1: Bi-Monthly MLGU Contest. Only one (1) winner.

Contest 2: MLGU Winners will compete for the Bi-Monthly Provincial winner. Only One (1) winner. Only residents from MLGU can join the contest. Tourist who visited the MLGU can join but has to secure a certification from the Local Tourism Office that he/she was on that LGU as a tourist in the making of the video.

Only CELLPHONES will be used with minimum video resolution of 1080 pixels.

Submitters must grant the P/C/MLGUs and tourism stakeholders' permission to use their tourism videos for promotional purposes.

GENERAL CRITERIA:

Originality: it must be original and do not infringe on any copyrights.

Length: it should be 90 Seconds long.

Content: it should highlight key attractions, culture, and unique features of the destination. Lyrics and visuals should be appropriate for all audiences.

Format: Video submissions should be in MP4 format..
