🏆 A WIN FOR US, BURGOSANON YOUTH! 🤙🏼

The Padre Burgos youth, represented by PPSK President Hon. Allen Dave Buhat and LYDO Designate Keisha Elezze Batalon, proudly PASSED the Youth Development Area during the Regional Local Governance Champions (RLGC) 2026 Onsite Assessment.

The RLGC 2026 is conducted to assess the performance of Local Government Units in various governance areas, including Youth Development. This milestone reflects the collective efforts of the LGU, PPSK, LYDO, and our young people in strengthening youth participation and meaningful engagement in local governance.

This is more than just passing an assessment. It is a recognition of our continuing commitment to empower, involve, and create opportunities for every Burgosanon youth.

🇵🇭 LYDO and PPSK Lead LGU Padre Burgos Flag Raising Ceremony

The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) and Pambayang Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK), headed by Hon. Allen Dave Buhat, led the LGU Padre Burgos Flag Raising Ceremony held on August 10, 2026 at the Municipal Grounds.

The ceremony began with a prayer led by Life Coach Pastor Benson Morial, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the Padre Burgos Hymn, conducted by Hon. Siljoyce Khiana Castro, SK Chairperson of Brgy. Dinahugan. Meanwhile, Hon. Razel Rose Bactindon, SK Chairperson of Brgy. Sta. Sofia, led the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan.

During the ceremony, LYDO Designate Keisha Elezze Batalon highlighted the upcoming celebration of International Youth Day on August 12, as well as the nationwide observance of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, carrying the theme:
“Different Contexts, Common Aspirations”

In behalf of all the youth in Padre Burgos, she also expressed her gratitude to everyone who continues to support the youth and encouraged all sectors to remain committed to working with young people as partners in building a stronger, more resilient, inclusive, and progressive Padre Burgos.

Together, let us celebrate the youth not only as the leaders of tomorrow, but as active partners in shaping our community today.

31 July 2026| The Pambayang Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK) of Padre Burgos successfully convened its Monthly Session at the DILG Office, presided over by PPSK President Hon. Allen Dave Buhat, with the presence of MLGOO Ma’am Bennites P. Gido and LYDO Designate Keisha Elezze C. Batalon.

The body discussed the following agenda:
• Linggo ng Kabataan
• Summer League Financial Report
• Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) Board
• Inter-Town PPSK Basketball League Invitation
• Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for SK Chairpersons
• Orientation on Local Literacy Coordinating Council Duties and Functions
• Regional Local Governance Champions (Youth Development area)

The session concluded with a fellowship over merienda at Ystambai Café, fostering stronger camaraderie among the youth leaders.

𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙞𝙣.

Cluster 1 emerged as the Champion of this year's PPSK Cheerdance Competition! The echoes of cheers and celebration filled the Sta. Sofia Gymnasium as they claimed the coveted title. While every team came with the heart of a champion, only one could rise to the top.

A heartfelt congratulations also goes to Cluster 2, this year's 1st Runner-Up. Defeat does not diminish greatness — it builds character, fuels determination, and inspires a stronger comeback. Their remarkable performance proved that there is beauty even in falling short, for it ignites the hunger to rise even higher next year.

Congratulations to everyone, regardless of cluster. The true victory lies not only in winning the hampionship but in the unity, sportsmanship, passion, and dedication that made this event
success.
