Turn your plastic waste into something meaningful and impactful ♻️
We are accepting eco bricks in exchange for rice to support:
SDG2- Zero Poverty,
SDG9-Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure SDG 11- Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG13 - Climate Action,
SDG14- Life Below Water, and
SDG15 - Life on Land.

"SMALL BRICKS, BIG IMPACT, FULL PLATES"

How it works:
• Collect clean, dry plastic waste
• Pack it tightly into a plastic bottle (1.5L) that weighs 600g to make an eco brick
• Exchange your eco brick for rice

Every eco brick helps reduce plastic pollution and supports families in need. Let’s work together for a SKleaner environment and a caring community! 💚

Level Up Your Mindset: Empowering the Next Generation of Young Entrepreneurs

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tangkaan, through the Committee on Economic Empowerment, is launching a meaningful program designed to equip today’s youth with the tools for financial freedom and business success.

This initiative aims to:
1.Build financial literacy among young people.
2. Inspire early interest in entrepreneurship.
3.Provide start-up support to kickstart business ideas.

This program is also anchored to SDG #8 Decent Work and Economic Growth.

By empowering the youth with financial knowledge and opportunities, the Committee on Economic Empowerment continues its mission to create a community where everyone has a fair chance to grow, earn, and thrive!

HEADS-UP, KABATAN-ONAN SA BARANGAY TANGKAAN!

2nd SEMESTER KK ASSEMBLY 2025‼️

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tangkaan will convene its youth constituents aged 15-30 for a KK assembly this coming November 15, 2025, 1:00 PM at Municipal Evacuation Center .

Every KK members is requested and highly encourage to attend the said assembly because several announcements are set to be discuss by our SK officials. There are many upcoming activities that need to be addressed and we value every opinion, comments, and suggestions from our youth members, thus, your attendance is a must. Also, a symposium on Financial Literacy and Youth Business Engagement will also happen during the assembly.

IN PHOTOS: The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tangkaan officials actively participated in the International Coastal Cleanup 2025 at Tangkaan Beach Resort today, September 20,2025.

BLGU officials and 4ps beneficiaries took the lead and were also actively present during the said activity. Everyone was engaged in cleaning our coasts through sorting plastic wastes, sweeping harmful garbage that could potentially damage our marine ecosystem.

This activity is not just about cleaning our shores but also strengthens our commitment to protect and conserve our waters and its marine resources that help us a lot with our livelihood and tourism.

In celebration of the International Coastal Cleanup 2025, the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tangkaan and BLGU Tangkaan join the call to keep our waters, coastal areas, and ocean clean and safe for a more sustainable Marine ecosystem.

As we acknowledge the significant impact of youth participation in protecting the Marine resources, tomorrow will be the perfect time to go out and be engaged in our coastal clean-up activity that will be held at Tangkaan Beach Resort at 6:00 in the morning.

Join us, KKs of Tangkaan and let's promote better waste management practices to combat marine pollution!

IN PHOTOS: The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Tangkaan ended the celebration of the Barangay Fiesta and LNK 2025 with a Literay Musical Competition paSKlaban 2025. Bringing the talents and skills of its KK members in the spotlight. Several contesting categories were participated by Team Red String and Team Golden Arrow.

In conclusion, the Team Red String of Purok 2 and Purok 4 was declared as overall champion in the paSKlaban 2025, securing a back-to-back win.
