Personnel of Padre Burgos Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Maria Elena C Galleon, attended the meeting in preparation for the opening of classes, an Inter-Agency Convergence Meeting was successfully conducted at Padre Burgos Central School to strengthen collaboration among government agencies, stakeholders, and community partners for the implementation of Brigada Eskwela 2026.

The activity served as a platform to discuss plans, programs, and commitments aimed at ensuring a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for all learners. Through the spirit of bayanihan, participating agencies reaffirmed their support and dedication to promoting quality education and community involvement.

Galleon, attended the Solo Parent Week Celebration held at the Municipal Hall together with the Municipal Mayor Hon. Freiche Barcelon Poblete, Vice Mayor Hon. Hermenegildo C. Culpa, SB Member Councilor Hon. Rodel C. Iballa, PSWDO Ms. Jonalyn Gaviola, MSWDO Mrs. Caryl Michelle G. Balili, and WCPD PNCO Florian I Rubillos.

The activity aimed to recognize and honor the strength, sacrifices, and unconditional love of solo parents who continuously strive to provide a better future for their children. Their courage, dedication, and resilience serve as an inspiration to the entire community.

Being a solo parent comes with many challenges, yet they continue to stand strong with love and determination. This celebration serves as a reminder that their efforts are valued, appreciated, and recognized.

Personnel of Padre Burgos Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Maria Elena C Galleon, immediately responded to a report regarding a medical emergency involving a male adult patient at Brgy. Tangkaan, Padre Burgos. The patient was reported to be suffering from severe abdominal pain and required immediate medical assistance.

Upon arrival at the scene, the team found the patient seated on a chair, fully conscious, and responsive. Initial observation revealed visible signs of distress; the patient verbalized intense pain in the abdominal area, had vomited twice prior to our arrival,and exhibited facial grimacing as well as signs of paleness of the skin, indicating possible physical discomfort.

Team promptly conducted a thorough assessment of the patient’s vital signs while providing necessary comfort measures and administered 02 inhalation via FM @ 3L/min. The patient was then assisted and safely transported to Padre Burgos Community Hospital (PBCH) for medical evaluation, further treatment, and proper care.

We remain committed to serving the community and responding promptly to any emergency situation. We also encourage everyone to stay healthy and seek medical attention immediately whenever severe symptoms occur.

Personnel of Padre Burgos Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Maria Elena C Galleon, immediately responded to a report regarding a vehicular accident involving two vehicles within the area of Brgy. Lungsodaan, Padre Burgos.

Upon arriving at the scene, the team confirmed that two patients were involved in the incident. Fortunately, initial assessment showed that both individuals were conscious, responsive, and able to communicate. One of the patients reported experiencing pain in the right lower leg as a result of the collision. Meanwhile, the other patient had already received immediate attention and basic first aid from the Barangay Health Worker (BHW) together with PNP personnel from Padre Burgos present in the community, which helped stabilize their condition prior to our arrival.

To ensure they received proper medical attention and complete evaluation, the patients were promptly transported to Padre Burgos Community Hospital (PBCH) for further treatment, management, and continuous care.

We continue to remind all drivers and motorists to exercise caution, follow traffic rules, and maintain safe speeds while on the road. Road safety is a shared responsibility, and every measure taken helps prevent unfortunate incidents like this from happening.

Padre Burgos Fire Station EMS personnel, under the leadership of SFO3 Maria Elena C. Galleon, OIC–Municipal Fire Marshal, responded to a medical emergency involving a toddler who experienced a febrile seizure.

Upon arrival, the patient’s family reported that the child had a convulsion lasting only a few minutes. The EMS team immediately assessed the child and checked the temperature. The family was advised to continue performing a tepid sponge bath to help reduce the fever.

The patient was safely transported and properly endorsed to the Nurse on Duty (NOD) for further medical evaluation and management.

Padre Burgos Fire Station EMS Personnel, under the leadership of SFO3 Maria Elena C Galleon, responded to a medical emergency involving an adult-female passenger for a possible stroke.

The incident occurred while the patient was on a bus en route home, specifically at the Port Area of Padre Burgos, Southern Leyte.

Upon arrival at the scene, the patient reported experiencing numbness and weakness on the right side of the body. Initial assessment revealed that the patient has a history of hypertension. Our team provided vital signs taking, immediate comfort care and assisted in transferring the patient to the stretcher.

Due to the severity of the symptoms, the team immediately transported the patient to Padre Burgos Community Hospital (PBCH) for urgent medical attention and proper management to prevent her condition from worsening.

We also express our gratitude to Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) -Padre Burgos for their immediate assistance and coordination while at the scene.

Padre Burgos Fire Station EMS personnel, under the leadership of SFO3 Maria Elena C. Galleon, OIC–Municipal Fire Marshal, responded to a medical emergency involving a late adult female patient who experienced difficulty breathing while onboard a ship bound for Surigao. Due to the situation, the vessel returned to the harbor to seek immediate medical assistance.

Upon arrival, the patient was found gasping for air, conscious, and non-ambulatory. The EMS team promptly conducted an initial assessment and continuously monitored her vital signs. Oxygen therapy was administered via face mask at 5 L/min while en route to Padre Burgos Community Hospital. The patient was safely transported and endorsed to the Nurse on Duty (NOD) for further medical management.
