The Department of Agrarian Reform Regional Office X, led by Regional Information Officer III Wilfredo P. Hisona, Jr., together with the Regional StratComms Team, in partnership with the DARPO Misamis Occidental SPLIT StratComms Team, introduced PelikulAgraryo 2026 to students of La Salle University Ozamiz through an engaging orientation that sparked strong interest among aspiring student filmmakers.
Students expressed their enthusiasm and eagerness to participate, recognizing the film festival as a meaningful platform to showcase their creativity while telling the stories on both DARCRFF categories: Agrarian Reform Beneficiary and Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations.
The session, facilitated by DARRO X and DARPO Misamis Occidental, highlighted the competitionโs guidelines and mechanics, while also gaining inspiration from selected winning entries from the previous year.
The activity was conducted in coordination with Ted Nudgent Tac-an, Director of the Student Affairs Center, who extended full support to the initiative and encouraged students to actively take part in the film festival.
Regional Director Zoraida O. Macadindang, Al-Hadj, JD, expressed her unwavering support for the initiative, highlighting the power of the youth in translating agrarian reform stories into compelling narratives, with hopes that these efforts will shine in the national awarding.
With energy and excitement filling the room, the activity marked the beginning of La Salle University Ozamizโs journey in PelikulAgraryo 2026, ready to translate passion into powerful visual storytelling.
