COASTAL CLEAN-UP SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED BY RESERVE FORCE PERSONNEL

BRGY DOÑA CONSUELO BEACH, OZAMIZ CITY, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL — The Reserve Force Personnel of the 821st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve in collaboration with the Marines Reservists of the 142nd Marine Battalion Reserve aboard 821st NCSR Headquarters, successfully conducted a coastal clean-up activity on 12 July 2026.

The said activity aimed to promote environmental sanitation and raise community awareness on proper waste disposal. It also demonstrated that environmental protection is a shared responsibility that is best achieved through teamwork, discipline, and active participation of every reserve personnel of the unit.

1st ASSEMBLY TEST OF 81st NGR and 141st MBR, PNARU ACCOUNTING, and DEACTIVATION & ACTIVATION CEREMONY OF LINE RESERVE UNITS IN ZAMBOANGA CITY

HEADQUARTERS NRCen-WM, Rio Hondo, Zamboanga City --- the 821st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve and the 142nd Marine Battalion Reserve - Misamis Occidental, attended the 1st Assembly Test of 81st Naval Group Reserve and 141st Marines Battalion Reserve on 04 July 2026. The event highlighted the PNARU Accounting and the Deactivation and Activation Ceremony of Line Reserve Units. The keynote speaker of the said event was CAPT ALFREDERICK A ALBA PN(MNSA) which was also given a Side Boys Honor during his arrival at the Naval Station.

The event aimed to evaluate the readiness, responsiveness, and accountability of all Philippine Navy Affiliated Reservists (PNARU). The old line reserve units where deactivated and the new ones where activated. From being the 621st Naval Squadron Reserve, it is now 821st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve for the Sailors Reservists of Misamis Occidental and from 932nd Marine Company Reserve, it is now 142nd Marine Battalion Reserve for the Marines Reservists of Misamis Occidental. The logo of each units were also changed and it will be the official logo to be used in future endeavors of the units.

RESERVE FORCE RENDERED SERVICE TO THE CRUZ LANZADO SALIGAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL - CAVINTE

14 June 2026 | CAVINTE, OZAMIZ CITY, MIS OCC — The Reservists from the 821st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve and 142nd Marine Battalion Reserve joined forces and rendered service to the Cruz Lanzado Saligan Integrated School in Cavinte, Ozamiz City as part of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 program of the Department of Education, demonstrating our commitment to community service and nation-building through education.

The activity reflects the continued commitment of the Reserve force to serve the local communities. With one team and one mission, we remain ready to support initiatives that promote education, development and welfare of future generations.

PHILIPPINE NAVY RESERVISTS ACT AS EVENT MARSHAL DURING THE SEARCH FOR MISS SAN ANTONIO TOURISM 2026

11 June 2026 | SAN ANTONIO, OZAMIZ CITY, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL — The Reserve Force Personnel of the 821st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve and 142nd Marine Battalion Reserve act as event marshal during the Search for Miss San Antonio Tourism 2026 and its main objective was to maintain safety and security for candidates, guests, organizers and spectators.

34 personnel came in attendance and they were given tasks and designated posts in the venue. The activity was successfully performed due to the joint effort of both sailors and marines reservists. The teamwork, discipline and professionalism demonstrated by the reserve force contributed significantly to the peaceful and successful conduct of the event.

12 Hunyo 2026 | Ngayong Araw ng Kalayaan, ating alalahanin ang mga bayaning nagbuwis ng buhay upang makamtan ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon. Bilang paggunita, nagsagawa ang 821st Naval Combat Squadron Reserve at 142nd Marine Battalion Reserve ng pagtaas ng pambansang watawat sa Naval Detachment. Sana’y manatiling buhay sa puso, hindi lamang ng mga laang kawal kundi lahat ng Pilipino ang pagmamahal sa bansa.
