DECEMBER 16, 2025 || ORIENTATION ON LOANING PROGRAM OF LANDBANK

The Land Bank of the Philippines conducted a Loaning Program Orientation led by Ms. Lea Joy S. Santocildes, Team Leader of Lanbank.

The Orientation was designed to inform and guide RSBSA-Registered farmers on the available loan programs, eligibility requirements, and application procedures.

This initiative aims to support farmers by providing access to financial assistance that can help improve agricultural productivity and livelihoods.

OCTOBER 22, 2025 || REGIONAL TURNOVER OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY UNDER THE RCEF MECHANIZATION PROGRAM AT CALINOG, ILOILO

The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) is the lead agency in the implementation of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanization Program.

The Regional Turnover and Distribution of Agricultural Machineries is part of the government's mechanization program under the RCEF. The activity aims to officially hand over various agricultural machines to qualified farmer's cooperatives and associations in Region 6. Beneficiaries from provinces of Antique, Aklan, and Iloilo will receive the machinery to enhance productivity, reduce postharvest losses, and support the modernization of the agricultural sector. The event emphasizes the government's commitment to improving farmers' livelihood and ensuring food security.

In the Municipality of Oton, the following Farmers Associations received agricultural machinery assistance:

STA. MONICA FARMERS ASSOCIATION (Brgy. Sta. Monica, Oton) - 1 unit Rice Combine Harvester & 1 unit Four-Wheel Tractor
STA. CLARA FARMERS ASSOCIATION (Brgy. Sta. Clara, Oton) - 1 unit Rice Combine Harvester & 1 unit Four-Wheel Tractor

The Agri-Fair will be open for the public from April 30-May 3, 2025.
