𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇. 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏. 𝐁𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐁.

Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Calumpang invites all youth of Brgy. Calumpang to join the Youth Leadership Summit on May 31, 2026. It will be held in the Brgy. Calumpang covered court. The event will start at 11:00 am. There will be various activities during the event.

We highly encourage you to bring extra t-shirt and tumbler. We also encourage you to bring your lunch because there will be a short salo-salo with everyone.

This activity is initiated by the SK Counsil of Brgy. Calumpang headed by our SK Chairman Hon. Reichen Wayne Cotcot. This is in line with enhancing the leadership skills of the youth and preparing for the next set of leaders for the upcoming BSK Elections. Your commitment to this event will surely bring joy and assurance for the betterment of the youth.

𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇, 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐀𝐋!

Last May 02, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Calumpang had their Semi-Annual KK Assembly held at the Magic’s Place Resort. It was a day full of laughter, joy, teamwork, and informative discussions. We also had the opportunity to hear the words of encouragement from our Brgy. Captain Hon. Dino Mirasol. After that, the youth were engaged in a series of activities that lets them move and be active. During the activity, Ms. Ched C. Tampos, a nursing student of Asian College of Technology discussed about HIV Awareness to further widen the knowledge of the youth about the current situation of rising HIV cases and methods to prevent further spreading. After the activities, the youth gathered for a hearty dinner and then finished the activity with a dance party.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Counsil headed by Hon. Reichen Wayne Cotcot together with the SK Councilors of Brgy. Calumpang sends their gratitude to those who participated in the activity. We are looking forward to your participation in the future activities.

𝐒𝐊! 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐄!

We are now in the hottest season of the year and with it, our assembly commences. We are inviting all Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Calumpang to join our semi-annual KK Assembly on May 02, 2026 at the Magic's Place Resort.

The assembly will begin its attendance checking at 12:30pm. There will be a seminar integrated with fun activites. Of course, the fun does not end even if the sun is already down because there will be more fun activities in the evening.

We are also introducing a new item for our youth which is the SK Calumpang Voucher. It will be used for SK Activities such as sports, cultural, and etc.

NOTE: ABSENT means NO VOUCHER. NO VOUCHER means NO LNK T-shirt and unable to participate in Sports League.

Oslob’s Entry for Bisti sa Paghiusa
(Sustainable Fashion and Wearable Art Competition)

𝑩𝑨𝑯𝑨𝒀 𝑲𝑼𝑩𝑶 considered one of our 𝑻𝑨𝑵𝑮𝑰𝑩𝑳𝑬 𝑪𝑼𝑳𝑻𝑼𝑹𝑨𝑳 𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑻𝑨𝑮𝑬. Even up to these modern days, there are still many nipa huts standing in the province of Cebu. It is a reminder of our resiliency and strength as Cebuanos that even though there are many high-rise buildings, the bahay kubo remains humble and strong.

Amid towering buildings, the bahay kubo remains a symbol of the Cebuano spirit. Through it, we see “𝑷𝑨𝑮𝑷𝑨𝑲𝑨𝑩𝑨𝑵𝑨” it shelters families, protects communities, and nurtures values of unity and care. It reminds us that true strength is not measured by height, but by the heart that stands firm and grounded in culture.

“A Reflection of Oslob’s Beauty”

This is about a digital art of a mirror, showing the reflection of Oslob—a place where nature, history, and faith are all captured in a single mirror of beauty.

In the southern part of Cebu lies the beautiful municipality of Oslob. Its identity is known throughout the world, as it is one of the most visited places in the Philippines, famous for its gentle giants, the whale sharks; the mesmerizing beauty of the curtain-like cascades of Tumalog Falls; the Philippines’ first marine sanctuary, with its turquoise water and shifting sandbar, Sumilon Island; and its Wild Monkey Viewing, where tourists can observe playful monkeys in their natural habitat.

Oslob is also known for its well-preserved historic landmarks, such as the Cuartel Ruins, Nuestra Señora de la Inmaculada Concepcion Church, and the Baluarte Watchtower, all constructed during the Spanish Era through the system of Polo y Servicio—a sad reality behind their existence.

Aside from Oslobanon warmth and hospitality, they are also known for their strong devotion to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, the town’s patroness.

Together, these elements form the true identity of Oslob.
