The meeting focused on key child protection and anti-trafficking initiatives, including the proposed Provincial Children's Federation, upcoming capacity-building activities, partner agencies' Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs), and updates on the Anti-OSAEC and CSAEM advocacy campaigns. The Philippine National Police also presented its accomplishments on Anti-OSAEC initiatives, while the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) shared the results of the 2025 PCPC Functionality Assessment to help identify strengths and areas for improvement.

The activity reaffirmed the Council's commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration and advancing responsive, child-centered, and rights-based programs that promote the safety, protection, and well-being of every child in Misamis Occidental.

Jimenez Medicare Community Hospital proudly supports of the "National Anti-Trafficking in Persons Awareness Month" and the "World Day Against Trafficking in Persons"

With this year's theme, "Iisang Nasyon, Iisang Aksyon: Tapusin ang Human Trafficking Ngayon," we stand in solidarity with survivors and reaffirm our commitment to protecting the dignity, rights, and freedom of every individual.

Human trafficking has no place in our communities. Together, let us raise awareness, remain vigilant, and work hand in hand to end all forms of exploitation.

On this 3rd Thursday of the month, our hospital proudly wears blue in solidarity with the observance of National Anti-Trafficking in Persons Awareness Month (NATAM) and the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons (WDATIP).

Join us in celebrating the Safer Internet Day (SID)
for Children Philippines this coming 10 February
2026!
The SID is a global event celebrated annually to promote
safer and more responsible internet use for everyone,
with a special focus on over 100 countries, raising
awareness about online safety issues. In the Philippines,
the SID is officially recognized through Proclamation No.
417, declaring every second Tuesday of February as Safer
Internet Day for Filipino Children.
This yearโ€™s theme,โ€œAko, Ikaw, Tayo: Konektado at
Protektado Laban sa OSAEC at CSAEMโ€, emphasizes
the importance of a whole-of-nation approach in creating
a safer digital space for children.
โœจ Letโ€™s come together to promote online safety by
encouraging responsible internet use and addressing the
challenges and opportunities of the digital world for
Filipino children. At the heart of this celebration are the
voices of the youth, who play a crucial role in creating a
safer, more secure digital environment for all. Their call
to action aims to inspire bayanihan among government
actors, civil society organizations, and the private sector.
Together, we can make the internet a safer space for
everyone!
