LOOK: Sa inilabas na Labor Advisory No. 5, pinaalalahanan ng Department of Labor and Employment - DOLE ang mga employer na bayaran ang kanilang manggagawa ng tamang pasahod sa 02 Abril (Maundy Thursday), 03 Abril (Good Friday), 09 Abril (Araw ng Kagitingan) na Regular Holidays at 04 Abril (Black Saturday) na isang Special (Non-Working) Day).

Regular Holidays - 02 Abril (Maundy Thursday), 03 Abril (Good Friday), 09 (Araw ng Kagitingan). Upang ang empleyado ay makatanggap ng 100% ng kaniyang arawang sahod (basic wage x 100%) sa araw na ito, siya ay dapat pumasok o naka-paid leave sa huling araw ng trabaho bago ang nakatakdang regular holiday.

Special (Non-Working Day) - 04 Abril (Black Saturday). Ipinatutupad ang “no work, no pay” sa isang special (non-working) at special (working) day, maliban na lamang kung ang kumpanya ay may polisiya o collective bargaining agreement (CBA) na nagbibigay ng sahod para sa nasabing araw.

LOOK | Up to P20 million loan, hatid ng DTI sa mga OFWs!

Magandang balita para sa ating mga bayaning OFW at kanilang pamilya. Inilunsad ng Department of Trade and Industry through Small Business Corporation ang OFW Negosyo Fund, isang programang naglalayong tulungan ang mga OFW na magkaroon ng matatag na kabuhayan dito sa Pilipinas.

Sa ilalim ng programang ito, maaaring makakuha ang isang OFW grantee ng loan na hanggang P20 milyon at hanggang P5 milyon dito ay maaaring makuha nang walang kinakailangang collateral, isang benepisyong tanging SB Corp lamang ang nag-aalok sa buong Pilipinas.

Madali lamang ang proseso ng pag-aapply:
1. Kumpletuhin ang basic requirements;
2. I-download ang DTI SB Corp Money App sa Google Play o Huawei AppGallery, o bisitahin ang web app sa app.sbcorp.ph

Kaya naman ano pang hinihintay ninyo, mga ka-OFW? Ito na ang pagkakataon ninyong makapagsimula o makapagpalago ng negosyo para sa mas matatag na kinabukasan ng inyong mga pamilya.

LOOK | Official Kick-Off of the 2025 Regional DOLE-X and PESO/JPO Year-End Performance Assessment (YEPA) in Northern Mindanao!

The Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Regional DOLE-X and PESO/JPO Year-End Performance Assessment (YEPA) was successfully held on February 19, 2026 at Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City, highlighted by a vibrant and spirited Parade of Colors that set an energetic tone for the activity.

The event underscored the strong solidarity, unity, teamwork, and collective commitment of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) together with all Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs) and Job Placement Offices (JPOs) across Northern Mindanao in delivering employment and livelihood facilitation programs and services in the region.

Provincial PESO Manager Jojo Noriel P. Ampahan also attended the said event, demonstrating continued support and active participation in the regional assessment and collaboration among PESOs and DOLE offices.

Patuloy ang koordinasyon ng OWWA sa mga Migrant Workers Office at Embahada upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng ating mga Kababayan.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na:
• Subaybayan ang opisyal na anunsyo ng Philippine Embassy at verified accounts ng host government
• Tukuyin ang pinakamalapit na shelter at maging handa sa anumang emergency alert
• Iwasan ang mga lugar na may potensyal na panganib
