The barangay is a political unit of the community composed a Barangay Chairman, 7 Kagawads; SK members, Treasurer, Secretary and it also consists of 7 Tanod Members and 5 Lupon Tagapamayapa. Barangay District 19 is a clean and peaceful barangay with hardworking and business-minded residents. Dist. 19, you will find the Office of the SSS, Western Leyte College (Nursing Department), SALA Lounge + Ca

fé, Tomaro’s Clinic and Area VI, Fling’s Plate Catering Services, Calutan Furniture, Little Boutique and MEBO Internet Café. Dist. 19 include the installation of 2 Tanod Outposts and 2 units of Fire Extinguisher with accessories. The barangay has a Financial Transaction Board and a boxing ring for rent.

Our Story

The barangay is a political unit of the community composed a Barangay Chairman, 7 Kagawads; SK members, Treasurer, Secretary and it also consists of 7 Tanod Members and 5 Lupon Tagapamayapa. Barangay District 19 is a clean and peaceful barangay with hardworking and business-minded residents. In Brgy. Dist. 19, you will find growing businesses and institutions Western Leyte College (Nursing Department), SALA Lounge + Café, TAGZ Deli Express, Mamerta’s Cocina, Alberto’s Pizza, Tomaro’s Clinic, Fling’s Plate Catering Services, Calutan Furniture, Dr. Arevalo’s Heart Clinic, DXN, pharmacies, hair salons, and various shops. Projects of Brgy. Dist. 19 include the installation of 12 CCTV cameras around the barangay district (Rizal St., Bonifacio St., Kangleon St., and Carlos Tan St.) and the regular cleaning of drainage. More projects can be found listed at the Financial Transaction Board besides the Barangay Multi-purpose Hall is located at Carlos Tan St., Ormoc City. We also have a boxing ring and a basketball ring for rent.
