Our Barangay Officials recently attended the Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas 2026 National Congress from March 23-24, 2026. at World Trade Center, Manila. We are proud to share that our Punong Barangay was recognized as an awardee for his final term during the event.

This was a meaningful experience for our officers, many of whom were attending for the first time.
We would also express our sincere gratitude to the Ormoc City LGU for your continued support of our barangay officials.

Thank you to everyone who attended our first Barangay Assembly Day for the first semester of 2026. Themed " Nagkaisang Barangay Tungo sa Kalinisan, Kaayusan, Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran."

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our guest speakers for sharing their valuable insights:
-Ms. Cherry L. Jabilles ( Environmental and Natural Resources Office) for updates on environmental ordinances and resource protection.
-Ms. Cherrybe Crisostomo (City Health Midwife) for discussing cervical cancer awareness and the importance of early prevention.
-PCPI Mary Rose P. Cinco (Ormoc Police Station 6) for highlighting drug-free initiatives, public smoking policies, helmet safety, and gambling prohibitions.
We are proud to continue maintaining our status as a drug-free barangay.

Special thanks to our SK officials, leb by Ms. Angel Sepe, for their assistance with decorations and snack distribution. Ms. Sepe also noted that many activities are planned for our youth this year, so please stay tuned for further updates.

We would also like to thank our Barangay Tanods for their significant help in preparing the arrozcaldo and cleaning the venue; your support was invaluable.

Finally, thank you to all Mahayagnons for your active participation and cooperation.

On behalf of the Barangay officials, I extend our sincere gratitude to all Mahayagnon residents for participating in the 2nd Semester Barangay Assembly 2025 held yesterday. Your presence and engagement made the event a success.

We were pleased to have a representative from the Environmental and Natural Resources (ENRO) who discussed city ordinances, relevant environmental laws, and updates pertinent to our community. The City Health Office was also present, with our midwife detailing health programs and services available to the community. This was followed by accomplishment reports from each Sanguniang member on their assigned committees, an open forum for questions and suggestions facilitated by our Punong Barangay, Honorable Harold Ablen, and a raffle draw for all attendees.

Congratulations to all the raffle winners! We promise to have a raffle draw at every barangay assembly.

Thank you again for your cooperation. We look forward to your continued participation in the next barangay assembly.
