CY 2026 - Quarter 1 release of City Allowance to DepEd - Schools Division of Ormoc City teaching and teaching-related personnel.

DepEd Ormoc extends its gratitude to the City Government of Ormoc headed by City Mayor, Hon. Lucy Torres Gomez.

The program was graced by SP Member Hon. Carmen Jean Rama, SP Member and Committee on Education Chair Hon. Edmund Kierulf, and Chief Education Supervisor Dr. Allan Onallebas Sardnemla.

May 29, 2026 - Mr. Janrelh Edera of Juander Radyo Ormoc, along with his team, paid a courtesy call to SDS Carmelino Paculan Bernadas as part of their commitment as a media partner in supporting DepEd Ormoc’s programs and projects by expanding the reach of its advocacy and strengthening information dissemination.

Dr. Bernadas emphasized during the interview the true essence and purpose of being part of the education sector: to educate, empower, and nurture. Guided by the mantra, “Empowering Minds, Nurturing Futures,” he highlighted that the role of DepEd Ormoc goes beyond simply sharing knowledge; it is about inspiring learners to grow, think critically, and act independently.

He calls on DepEd Ormoc teachers to make every lesson fun and meaningful, and to treat each class day as an opportunity to build confidence, ignite curiosity, and equip learners with the skills they need to succeed in life.

This volunteer activity gives you the chance to directly help and care for our shelter dogs.
