🏆 𝙎𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝙎𝙁𝙀𝙎𝙏 2026 𝙊𝙁𝙁𝙄𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙔 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝘾𝙇𝙐𝘿𝙀𝙎: 𝙅𝙊𝙄𝙉 𝙐𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝘼𝙒𝘼𝙍𝘿𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘾𝙀𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙔!

Gordon Heights National High School extends its congratulations to all participating teams for an exceptional display of athletic talent, sportsmanship, and school spirit during GHNHS Sportsfest 2026.

The competition across all events was remarkably intense and closely contested, with Team Ignis securing Rank 1 by winning 14 Gold medals, followed closely by Team Terra in Rank 2 with 13 Gold medals.

We commend Team Ignis, Team Terra, Team Aqua, and Team Aeris for their dedication and hard work throughout the games.

Gordon Heights National High School (GHNHS) gratefully acknowledges the generous support of its education partners who continue to contribute to the school’s efforts to provide a better learning environment for its learners. K&A Global Logistics Inc., represented by Ms. Seah Bernadette Muyco, donated ₱10,000.00 to support the provision of food for learners participating in the ARAL Basic Program during Saturday classes, helping ensure that learners are nourished and better prepared to engage in their learning sessions.

Adding to this meaningful support, the Subic Bay Multi-Purpose Cooperative generously donated cleaning materials to help sustain the cleanliness, sanitation, and upkeep of the school. The donation supports GHNHS’s continuing efforts to maintain a safe, clean, and conducive environment for learning and development.

The donations were facilitated by Brigada Eskwela Coordinator Dr. Riogel L. Santiago, with the valuable efforts of Ms. Yvette Marie R. Muyco in strengthening stakeholder engagement and support for the school. These contributions demonstrate how partnerships with the community and education stakeholders can create meaningful assistance that directly benefits learners and the school community.

𝐆𝐇𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐁-𝐇𝐈𝐕 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

On September 28–29, 2026, Gordon Heights National High School (GHNHS) participated in a two-day Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV Awareness, Prevention, and Screening Activity conducted in partnership with the Olongapo City Health Office – Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Program. The initiative aimed to strengthen health awareness, promote prevention, and encourage early detection among senior high school learners.

The activity was facilitated by ARH Coordinator Mr. Arzen Jhon Calderon, through the coordination of Ms. Ruby Ann M. Bayla and Ms. Scherazade Alonzo of the SDO-SHN Unit. Student leaders from various school organizations and clubs actively participated in the two-day activity, serving as peer educators and engaging in discussions, health talks, quizzes, and learning sessions focused on TB and HIV awareness, prevention, and advocacy.

The first day focused on the training of selected peer educators, equipping student leaders with relevant knowledge and advocacy strategies that they can share with their fellow learners. On the second day, participants took part in an interactive learning event and TB-HIV screening, promoting the importance of health awareness, early detection, and appropriate health-seeking behaviors.

The activity underscores GHNHS’s commitment to empowering student leaders as partners in promoting a healthy and informed school community. Through meaningful collaboration with health authorities and SDO-SHN, learners were provided with opportunities to become responsible health advocates and contribute to the prevention of communicable diseases.
