Objectives

• To develop research in different disciplines to improve existing knowledge
and practices;
• To provide extension programs to sustain the greater impact of the college
to the community;
• To integrate moral principles/ standards in the curriculum to strengthen the
moral responsibilities of the lifelong learners;
• To strengthen the institution-industry collaboration/partnership to ensure
graduates’ employability and entrepreneurship;
• To increase the national passing percentage for board courses and national

Launching of the Global Grant Project Cervical & Breast Cancer Screening was successfully conducted on May 20, 2026, at the Audio Visual Room (AVR) of Gordon College. The event served as an educational and awareness initiative aimed at promoting the importance of early detection, prevention, and healthcare awareness in combating cervical and breast cancer within the community. It was attended by students from the College of Allied Health Studies (CAHS), along with nurses and health workers, as part of the awareness initiative.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Olongapo (RCDO) under the leadership of Ghie Azurin, President of RCDO, the session featured a lecture and presentation by Dr. Jaime Rojo on cervical and breast cancer awareness. Meanwhile, Dr. Josefina Bustamante, Chief of Clinics of James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH), emphasized the importance of early detection, regular screening, and proper healthcare practices in preventing cervical and breast cancer. The event concluded with closing remarks from Gordon College President, Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano, who expressed gratitude to all organizers, partners, healthcare professionals, and participants for supporting the success of the initiative and its advocacy for better public health awareness.

Gordon College (GC) and Unibersidad de Manila (UDM) officially strengthened their partnership through the Ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing held on May 13, 2026, hosted by UDM.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano, College President, Dr. Kristin Joy A. Mendoza, Vice President for Institutional Planning, Development, and External Affairs, Dr. Erlinda Casela-Abarintos, Vice President for Administration and Finance, Mr. Melner Balce, Head of the Information Systems Operation Unit, Mr. Joseph Angelo B. Pusing, Head of the Information and Communication Services Unit and Officer-in-Charge, Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, Ms. Precious S. De Castro, Coordinator for International Affairs and Linkages.

This partnership aims to promote collaboration between the two institutions through knowledge and resource sharing, particularly in information systems, academic services, and institutional development. As part of the engagement, Gordon College showcased its in-house developed systems led by the College of Computer Studies, including the Human Resource Information System (HRIS),Gordon College Learners Academic Management Portal (GCLAMP), Enrollment System, and Admission System, highlighting the institution’s commitment to innovation and digital transformation in information systems. It also encourages the exchange of best practices and supports innovation and technological advancement through cooperative efforts.

The engagement marks an important step in strengthening external linkages and advancing the academic and strategic goals of both institutions.

Congratulations to Project METRO: Monitoring, Enforcement & Tracking Resource Online

‎On May 13, 2026, the Municipal Mayor of San Antonio, Dr. Arvin D. Antipolo, officially signed Executive Order No. 29, Series of 2026, establishing the Project METRO Digital Compliance and Monitoring Program for Ikot Palengke Operations in the Local Government Unit of San Antonio, Zambales, in coordination with Department of Trade and Industry.

‎Project METRO was developed by the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology 3rd Year Students of Team OneDev from GC CCS: Aaron Paul Sario, Earl Romeo B. Ordovez, Nikolai Roman Nepomuceno, Paulo P. Cordova, Seann Patrick Tamondong, and Marina C. Camaso.

‎The system was created as an innovative compliance platform aimed at improving inspection operations through digital monitoring, enforcement tracking, reporting, and compliance analytics.

‎With these remarkable achievements, GCCCS expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Imelda D. P. Soriano for her continuous support and encouragement to student innovation; Prof. Ronnie D. Luy, Dean of the College of Computer Studies; Ms. Armilyn Martinez, Assistant Dean; Prof. Reynaldo G. Gordon College College of Computer Studies proudly celebrates another milestone as our Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing Game Development (BSEMC GD) students showcase their incredible talent and creativity at the Philippine Game Development Expo (PGDX) 2026, happening on July 24 to 26, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Manila!

This achievement marks a huge step not only for our students but also for the growing legacy of GCCCS in the field of game development. This is only the FIRST WAVE, the first batch of our EMC GD students proving that GCCCS is ready to shape the future of the Philippine gaming industry.

HISTORY MADE: Gordon College Sets a New National Standard! THE ONLY ONE IN THE PHILIPPINES!

Gordon College just hit a historic milestone. We are officially the first and only Local College in the country to receive a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for the Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management (MAEd-EM) issued by the Commission on Higher Education - Office of Programs and Standards Development (CHED-OPSD) and the Commission-En-Banc.

This isn't just a certificate; it is a testament to our commitment to academic excellence.

OUR DEEPEST GRATITUDE To our CHAMPIONS at CHED: to the former CHEDROIII Director and now CHED-OIQAG Director, Dr. Lora L. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR NEW LICENSED PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS!

Gordon College proudly celebrates its excellent performance in the March 2026 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT), once again surpassing the national passing rates in both the Elementary and Secondary levels.

For the BEED/BECED Program, the College achieved an overall passing rate of 87.50%, with a first-time takers passing rate of 80%, exceeding the 56.03% National Passing Rate.

For the BSED Program, the College attained an overall passing rate of 87.10%, while recording an impressive 93.75% passing rate among first-time takers, surpassing the 73.10% National Passing Rate.

With these remarkable achievements, the College extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Darwin P. Paguio, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Eder E. The Gordon College - College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) successfully conducted the FINAL COACHING FOR IN-HOUSE BLEPT REVIEW 2026 at SM Olongapo Downtown Cinema 3 on May 11, 2026.

The event formally opened with the opening remarks of Dr. Eder E. Magsayo, Dean of CEAS, followed by special messages from Dr. Darwin P. Paguio, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Ediric D. Gadia, Vice President for Research, Development, and Community Extension Services. The activity was also attended and supported by the College President, Dr. Imelda DP. Soriano, who delivered an inspiring message to all future educators.

Mr. Kristoffer Paul C. Obispo, Program Chair – BSED Science, introduced the Review Master, Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, whose expertise and dedication continue to inspire future educators in their journey toward excellence.
