DTI Romblon conducted a Business Development Training for local MSMEs today, September 3, in Magdiwang, Romblon. Through an actual business simulation, participants gained hands-on experience in managing a business, from planning and purchasing goods, recording expenses and savings, and selling products, to bookkeeping, journalizing, invoicing, and determining net profit.

The activity strengthened participants’ practical skills in business management, financial recording, and understanding market behavior.

The DTI Romblon, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Fernando, conducted a capacity-building activity for local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on Business Planning, Bookkeeping, Costing and Pricing, and Understanding Supply and Demand on September 2, 2026.

The activity provided participants with practical knowledge and tools to effectively manage their businesses, determine appropriate pricing strategies, maintain proper financial records, and better understand market behavior.

The initiative forms part of DTI Romblon’s continuing efforts to strengthen the capabilities of MSMEs and promote sustainable and competitive enterprises in the province through accessible business development assistance and capacity-building interventions.
