The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) joined the 2nd Quarter Full Council Meeting of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) MIMAROPA at the Provincial Government of Romblon Tablas Extension Office in Odiongan, Romblon.
The meeting was presided over by ๐๐จ๐ง. ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐จ โ๐๐จ๐ง๐ณโ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ, Chairperson of the RPOC MIMAROPA, and attended by Regional Directors, representatives from various National Government Agencies, members of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), local chief executives, and other key stakeholders across the region.
Representing the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology was Jail Provincial Administrator of Romblon Province and concurrent Acting District Jail Warden of Odiongan DJ and ๐๐ฆ๐๐ก๐ฆ๐ฃ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ช๐๐ก๐ ๐ ๐ข๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฅ, together with other BJMP personnel, who actively participated in the discussions and collaborative efforts aimed at strengthening peace, order, and public safety in the region.
The gathering served as an important venue to assess the current peace and security situation in MIMAROPA, strengthen inter-agency collaboration, and discuss strategic measures to address emerging challenges affecting public safety and community development.
BJMPโs participation underscores its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace, order, and public safety, while fostering stronger partnerships with government agencies and local leaders in ensuring a secure, peaceful, and progressive MIMAROPA Region for all.
