The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office – Romblon successfully conducted a two-day seminar on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, focused on 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 (𝘎𝘈𝘋), aimed at strengthening the gender mainstreaming competencies of its employees.

The seminar featured discussions led by 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘙. 𝘎𝘢𝘢, who presented key concepts and tools related to Gender and Development (GAD). The topics covered included Gender Analysis and its application in project proposal preparation, the use of gender analysis tools in developing gender-responsive initiatives, the application of the Harmonized Gender and Development Guidelines (HGDG) in integrating gender perspectives throughout the project development cycle, and the GAD Focal Point System Functionality Assessment Tool (GFAST) for assessing and enhancing organizational GAD performance and implementation.

Each session was enriched with open Question and Answer portions that encouraged active participation, promoted deeper understanding, and provided opportunities for participants to share insights and experiences. The seminar also included energizers and capacity-building activities between sessions, fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and an engaging learning environment throughout the two-day activity.

📅𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗣𝗢-𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆

The Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office of Romblon, in pursuit of the goals of the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project, conducted a policy cascading activity on Joint DAR-LRA Administrative Order No. 1, Series of 2024 and Administrative Order No. 2, Series of 2024 in Odiongan, Romblon.

The activity aimed to orient DAR personnel and Registry of Deeds representatives on 𝘑𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘋𝘈𝘙-𝘓𝘙𝘈 𝘈𝘥𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘕𝘰. 1 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘰. 2, 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 2024. Atty. Jazon E. Collado, Regional Agrarian Reform Adjudicator(RARAD), served as resource speaker, covering the rules on re-issuance of Owner’s Duplicate Copies and correction of entries in Collective CLOAs, as well as the revised procedures on parcelization of landholdings under the SPLIT Project.

An open forum allowed participants to raise field-level concerns and seek legal clarifications. The activity was opened by CARPO Cosme Jaime M. Mendoza and formally closed by Chief Administration Officer Mark Anthony M. Reyes, RN, MPA.

With the successful conduct of this cascading activity, DARPO-Romblon proves its devotion to serve the forefront of its mandate and to improve the implementation of SPLIT Project.

𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲.

DARPO - Romblon continues to bring public service closer to the people by conducting initial meeting for landholdings subject to survey under the SPLIT Project, while also providing mediation services among Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) to promote peaceful resolution within communities.

One field at a time, the agency remains steadfast in delivering service that cultivates progress of our community.

The 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙢 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙘 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨 🎥 successfully gathered aspiring storytellers from 𝙍𝙤𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 in a full-day learning session led by Department of Agrarian Reform MIMAROPA, with full support from DARPO Romblon.

Serving as a preparatory activity for 𝙋𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙪𝙡𝘼𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮𝙤 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 2, the film lab provided participants with a comprehensive orientation on program guidelines, alongside sessions on agrarian reform concepts and their relevance in storytelling. Students also learned the fundamentals of filmmaking, including concept development, visual storytelling, and production techniques.

Through interactive discussions and guidance from resource speakers, participants gained valuable insights that will help them craft compelling, socially relevant films that amplify the voices and lived experiences of rural and farming communities.

Ang DARPO–Romblon, sa ilalim ng Project SPLIT, ay nagsagawa ng pagpupulong at panayam sa ilang mga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) sa Odiongan, Romblon.

Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, nakalap ng pangkat ang mahahalagang datos at pananaw mula sa mga ARBs upang higit na maunawaan ang kanilang kasalukuyang kalagayan, mga hamon, at mga oportunidad.
