🏆 Mayor’s Cup 2026: Basketball and Volleyball Tournament 🏀🏐
Get ready, Oasnons! The Municipality of Oas proudly invites everyone to be part of the Mayor’s Cup 2026, a sports event that aims to promote camaraderie, teamwork, and unity among Oasnons. The tournament will gather athletes from different barangays and teams to showcase their talent and sportsmanship.
The competition will be organized into four clusters: Mayon Unit, Lowland, Upland, and Coastal, ensuring wider participation across the municipality.
🏀 Basketball (Inter-Barangay)
• One (1) entry per barangay
• Junior Division: 18–24 years old
• Open Division: 25 years old and above
• Requirements:
1. Photocopy of Birth Certificate
2. Original Copy of Barangay Residence Certificate
🏐 Volleyball (Inter-Team)
• Male and Female Category
• No age limit
• Limited to 10 teams per category (First come, first served)
📅 Important Dates to Remember
• March 27, 2026 – Deadline for submission of the Official List of Players. The respective SK Chairpersons shall submit the list to Kaye Rico Lo at the Office of the Mayor.
• March 31, 2026 – Sports Clinic (for Coaches and Team Captains only - basketball tournament)
• April 6, 2026 – Mayor’s Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony
