On March 19, 2026, DTI Cavite, represented by OIC Division Chief Julita C. Salvacion, participated in a collaboration meeting at the City of Imus.

The meeting was hosted by the City Government of Imus and attended by Hon. Mayor Alex Advincula, Councilor Mark Villanueva, Chairperson of the Committee on Trade, Commerce, and Industry, and Ms. Jhett Vilbar-Lungcay, Head of the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO). Representatives from PTTC – Global Academy, led by Executive Director Clare Mari Torralba and Danica Lozada, were also present.

The discussion focused on the program “Empowering Cavite Exporters for the South Korean Market,” which aims to equip local exporters with the knowledge and support needed to access international markets, and the localization of the OTOP Program to further support MSME growth and expand market opportunities.

On February 18, 2026, Dr. Eduardo E. Panulin, Extension Head of City College of Tagaytay (CCT) together with CCT extension coordinators, visited the Provincial Office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)–Cavite to discuss the renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and other possible programs/projects.
The meeting was held at the DTI Cavite Provincial Office, Trece Martires City with OIC Provincial Director Lilibeth R. Chavez and OIC Division Chief of Business Development Division Julita Salvacion. The discussion focused on continuing and strengthening the partnership between CCT and DTI in implementing extension programs, supporting MSMEs, and student-related activities.

DTI Cavite collaborates with WalterMart for the Lucky in Love Fair from February 09–15, 2026, at WalterMart branches in Naic, Trece Martires City, City of Dasmariñas, City of Bacoor, and Silang, Cavite.
The trade fair features DTI Cavite MSMEs, providing them with a valuable platform to showcase quality local products, expand their market reach, and engage directly with consumers.
This initiative aims to support and promote local entrepreneurs, strengthen market access for MSMEs, and encourage consumers to choose proudly Caviteño made products.
