The Municipal Agriculture Office, under the leadership of Gina Solas together with SB Liecel Mondejar-Seville spearheaded the formal distribution of high-quality fingerlings to registered fisherfolks earlier today, April 29, 2026. This initiative serves as a cornerstone of the local government’s commitment to sustainable food security, providing small-scale fishers with the essential resources needed to replenish local inland waters and communal ponds.

​By equipping beneficiaries with premium stock and technical guidance on aquaculture management, the program aims to maximize growth potential and ensure a productive harvest in the coming months. This proactive intervention by the Office of the Agriculture is expected to yield significant economic returns, directly supporting the livelihoods of the community.

As chairman committee on health, padayon kita nga naga panumdum sang kaayuhan sang aton mga pumoloyo, kaina nga session na aprobahan ang duwa ka ordinansa nga aton gin dihon kag gin sponsoran.

1. An ordinance establishing the Kusina Laging May Sustansya Program in the Municipality of New Lucena. This will promote use of locally grown and indigenous vegetables and recipes in the preparation of safe meals to New lucenanhon.

2. The UNA New Lucena Annual Municipal Health,Sanitation and Nutrition Summit of New Lucena, to educate stakeholders and encourage active participation of constituents on health -related Ordinances, Programs, Projects and Activities and providing funds therefor.

These Health Ordinances redound to the welfare of New Lucenanhon.

As chairperson of the committee on health, with Dr Reala and Mayor Karl we joined again the Municipal Local Governance Program of the DOH and partner institutions.
New Lucena passed the final selection of the Municipal Local Governance Program Cycle 5 under the leadership of Mayor Karl. He committed to efficiently implement programs on health and nutrition and to bridge the gap in our heath system.

Nag ground breaking ceremony ang National Dairy Authority sang ila Regional Office kag Western Visayas Feed Center dire sa sitio bangkal , New Lucena. Sa pag pamuno ni NDA administrator Atty. Marcus Andaya and other agency partners kag sang aton mayor, Atty. Carl Mondejar. This was followed by a Farmers and Stakeholders forum.

Having the NDA here will boost our local agriculture, create jobs, increase income, promote dairy farming and support our farmers as well as our nutrition program.

Isa ini sa handum sang aton LGU para sa pag pasanyog sang aton ekonomiya. Salamat NDA.

It is one of my duty as chairperson of the committee on health to ensure the safety and well-being of my constituents by establishing a reliable and responsive Animal Bite Treatment Center and strengthening rabies control measures through enactment of an ordinance entitled the New Lucena Animal Bite Treatment Center and Quality Bite Exposure Management Ordinance 2026. On today's regular session this was deliberated and approved on second reading. This ordinance provides accessibility to health care services and a FREE of charge vaccination of dog /cat bites for our indigent residents including solo parents and their children, PWD and senior citizens.
