The Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of New Lucena conducted a Special Session on January 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM, presided over by the Municipal Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer, Hon. Isabelo M. Acollador.

A Sangguniang Bayan Special Session is convened when public interest so requires, particularly to address urgent matters, emergencies, or calamities that demand immediate legislative action. Such a session may be called by the Municipal Mayor or by a majority of the Sangguniang Bayan members, with prior written notice clearly stating the purpose of the meeting. Deliberations during a Special Session are strictly limited to urgent concerns, unless otherwise agreed upon by the body.

During the Special Session, Hon. Liecel Mondejar-Seville, Chairperson of the Committee on Tourism, Culture and Arts, Trade, Commerce, Industry, and Special Events, sponsored four (4) resolutions.

NGA- NAGTAAS ANG BALAYRAN NATON SA KURYENTE

Nagtaas ang aton balayran subong nga Abril bangud sang pagtaas sang aton konsumo tuga sang mainit nga tyempo. Dako magkaon sang kuryente ang aton appliances nga nagapalamig (ref, aircon, freezer, etc.) ukon nagapainit (plantsa, heater, microwave, etc.).

Subong nga tama ka taas ang temperatura, tama ka gasto sa kuryente ang aton mga electric fan kag aircon kay mas nagdugay ang aton paggamit kag wala na untat sa pag-andar.

Nagdugang pagid sa mga rason ang delay sa reading sang aton mga metro. May delay nga tatlo ukon apat ka adlaw ang reading amu na nga igo nga 30 days ang sakop sang aton bill, nahimo siya nga 33 ukon 34 ka adlaw.

Isa pagid ka rason ang pagtaas ka presyo sang kuryente sa Wholesale Electricity Stock Market ukon WESM. Isa ini sa mga ginabul-an naton sang supply sang kuryente. Amu ini ang isa sa mga rason kung ngaa nagasaka ukon nagapana-og ang aton rate.

Sa subong nga mga tyempo, kinanglan gid naton magkinot sang aton pag-gamit sang kuryente kung di naton gusto mag-taas ang aton bill. Ang mga masunod amu ang mga paagi kung paano kita makakinot sa paggamit sang kuryente:
