Last April 24–25, LPRRC held a meaningful 2-day recollection activity for both residents and their families, creating a space for reflection, healing, and renewed connections.

Through shared experiences and guided sessions, participants were given the opportunity to deepen their self-awareness, strengthen their faith, and rebuild relationships that are vital to the recovery journey.

This transformative activity was facilitated by Sir Louie Selario, whose guidance inspired hope, understanding, and unity among everyone involved.

At LPRRC, we believe that recovery is strengthened not only within the individual, but also through the love and support of family.

The Luntiang Paraiso Regional Rehabilitation Center successfully conducted an Empanada Production Training on March 17, led by Ms. Ligaya Bernabe Centina, dedicated house parent of the center.

The session provided participants with hands-on experience in preparing and producing empanadas, covering essential techniques from dough preparation to proper cooking methods. Through this activity, residents enhanced their practical skills while fostering discipline, creativity, and confidence.

This initiative forms part of the center’s continuous efforts to develop livelihood competencies, empowering residents with meaningful skills that support their journey toward self-reliance and reintegration into the community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Ms. Centina for her invaluable contribution and commitment to skills development within the center.

The final batch of nursing interns from Arriesgado College Foundation Inc. has successfully completed their psychiatric exposure at our facility, marking the conclusion of this series of clinical rotations.

Throughout their time with us, the students demonstrated professionalism, respect, and a strong willingness to learn. Their active participation in therapeutic activities, patient interactions, and daily clinical responsibilities provided them with valuable exposure to the principles and practices of mental health care.

This experience has contributed to strengthening their clinical competence, communication skills, and understanding of compassionate, patient-centered care in a psychiatric setting. We are pleased to have been part of their training and to support their development as future healthcare professionals.

We extend our appreciation to Arriesgado College Foundation Inc. for the continued partnership. We wish all the interns success as they move forward in their academic journey and future nursing careers.

Last March 30, at the Davao del Norte Capitol, our dedicated focal persons was honored with a Gantipala Award in recognition of their efforts and leadership in sustaining our smoke-free advocacy.

A meaningful and heartfelt moment of reflection during our Stations of the Cross this Holy Week at Luntiang Paraiso Regional Rehabilitation Center.

Through each station, they shared in prayer, reflection, and quiet expression of faith connecting the story of sacrifice and hope with their own personal journeys toward recovery. It was a powerful reminder that healing goes beyond the physical, embracing emotional and spiritual growth as well.

Moments like these create a space for deeper understanding, renewed strength, and a sense of purpose. We are grateful for the sincerity, courage, and participation of our residents, who continue to inspire hope within our community.
