Campus Safety and Inspection Guidelines- DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 (Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment), our school shall strictly implement routine bag inspections and the prohibition of dangerous and unauthorized items within the school premises.
All learners, personnel, and visitors are reminded that bag inspections are conducted to ensure the safety and security of everyone and shall be carried out in a respectful and non-intrusive manner.
Strictly prohibited inside the campus are fi****ms, knives and sharp objects, explosives, hazardous chemicals, illegal drugs, v**e devices, gambling materials, and other items that may cause harm or disrupt learning.
A. ROUTINE BAG INSPECTION
To ensure the safety and well-being of all learners, personnel, and visitors, routine bag inspection shall be conducted at school classrooms for students.

HOW INSPECTIONS ARE CONDUCTED
β Performed using authorized non-contact methods whenever possible.
β Conducted in a respectful, non-intrusive, and non-discriminatory manner.
β Managed by designated authorized school personnel.
β SPTA members may assist when necessary.
β Refusal to undergo inspection may result in appropriate disciplinary action.
π FULL BAG SEARCH (WHEN NECESSARY)
A more thorough bag search may only be conducted when there is reasonable suspicion, such as:
π Visible bulges or protruding objects
β οΈ Unusual or suspicious behavior
π’ Credible reports from members of the school community
Such inspections shall be done discreetly and with due regard for the dignity and rights of learners.
Learners shall be asked to open their bags for visual inspection, and personnel shall avoid touching personal belongings unless absolutely necessary.

Cases involving illegal drugs shall follow the provisions of RA 9165 and applicable DepEd protocols.

β Objects unrelated to learning that may cause harm or disturbance
β Items intended to intimidate or threaten others
π CONFISCATION POLICY
π Prohibited items shall be confiscated and documented using a Confiscation Slip.
π Confiscated items shall be handled in accordance with existing DepEd policies and national laws.
π Parents or guardians may be notified when appropriate.
π Evidence involving illegal substances shall observe the required chain of custody under Section 21 of RA 9165.

RANDOM BAG INSPECTION DURING THE DAY
Our school may also implement random routine bag inspections across grade levels through a Random Routine Bag Inspection School Plan to strengthen school safety and security.
