MUNICIPALITY OF BUENAVISTA PLACED UNDER THE GENERAL COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (GCQ) THROUGH EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 27, series of 2020, effective on May 1 to May 15, 2020

Hon. Eugenio G. Reyes, Mayor, Municipality of Buenavista issued an executive order placing the entire Municipality under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) thereby adhering to the modified Level 2 response of the Guimaras COVID - Response Initiative.

The following regulations will be observed under GCQ:

BUSINESS WINDOW HOURS
○ Business establishments that are considered essential shall operate from 6:00 AM until 3:00 PM only. (Except for hospitals and funeral parlors)
○ No dine-in policy.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
○ Social or Physical distancing of atleast one (1) meter.
○ Pumboats shall operate from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM only.
○ PUJs shall operate from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM only.
○ Tricycles shall operate from 6:00 to 5:00 PM provided that only one (1) passenger shall be catered and a backrider is not allowed.
○ Single Motorcycles used as public conveyances shall be prohibited. For single motorcycles used for private purposes, it shall comply with the Executive Order No. 24, series of 2020 that mandates the backrider resides in the same residence as the driver.

STAY AT HOME
○ A stay at home policy shall be strongly encouraged on the duration of the modified level 2 response of the province. Movements shall be limited to accessing basic necessities.
○ Existing curfew ordinances shall be implemented.
