🚨 BARANGAY FIRST RESPONDER: DAPAT ALAM MO! 🚑🔥

Ang mga Barangay First Responder ang unang rumeresponde sa oras ng aksidente, sakuna, sunog, baha, lindol, at iba pang emergency sa komunidad. Malaki ang papel nila sa pagliligtas ng buhay bago dumating ang ambulansya, BFP, PNP, o rescue units.

📌 Tuwing kailan sila dapat naka-duty?
Karaniwan, ang Barangay First Responder ay dapat naka-duty o naka-standby lalo na sa:

✅ Panahon ng kalamidad
✅ Malalaking barangay activities
✅ Fiesta, liga, concert, at events
✅ Bagyo, baha, sunog, lindol
✅ Emergency situations anumang oras

Maaaring magtakda ang barangay ng shifting schedule para may nakaalalay 24/7 depende sa pangangailangan at pondo ng barangay.

📌 May oras ba ang kanilang duty?
Walang eksaktong oras na pare-pareho sa lahat ng barangay dahil depende ito sa ordinansa o schedule na ipinapatupad ng LGU o barangay. Ngunit kadalasan ay:

🕒 8-hour shifting
🕒 12-hour shifting
🕒 On-call / standby responders

📌 Ano ang dapat nilang nakukuha sa barangay?
Ayon sa kakayahan ng pondo ng barangay at ordinansa, maaari silang makatanggap ng:

💰 Honorarium o allowance
🦺 Safety equipment at uniform
⛑️ Training at seminars
🚑 Insurance o accident coverage
🍱 Meals during operations
📻 Communication equipment

📌 Ano ang kwalipikasyon ng Barangay First Responder?

✔️ Residente ng barangay
✔️ May mabuting kalusugan
✔️ May kaalaman sa first aid at disaster response
✔️ Sumailalim sa training ng MDRRMO, BFP, Red Cross, o DOH
✔️ Handang tumulong sa oras ng sakuna
✔️ Walang mabigat na criminal record

📌 May batas ba dito?
✅ Republic Act No. 10121 – Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010
👉 Nagtatakda ng paghahanda at disaster response ng mga LGU at barangay.

✅ Republic Act No. 7160 – Local Government Code of 1991
👉 Nagbibigay kapangyarihan sa barangay para mag-organisa ng emergency at public safety groups.

✅ DILG Memorandum Circulars tungkol sa Disaster Preparedness at Barangay DRRM Committees.

📌 Mahalaga ang Barangay First Responder dahil sila ang unang takbuhan ng mamamayan sa oras ng emergency!

⚠️ Kung walang maayos na responder system sa barangay, maaaring malagay sa peligro ang buhay ng mga residente.

As of 2:00 PM today, 12 May 2026, a Low Pressure Area (LPA 05b) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, a Low Pressure Area (LPA 05c) is being monitored outside the PAR and is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

As of 8:00 PM today, 09 May 2026, Tropical Storm "HAGUPIT" (formerly LPA 05b) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, a Low Pressure Area (LPA 05c) is being monitored inside the monitoring domain of PAGASA (TCID) and is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
