WARRANT OF ARREST SERVED IN NAGUILIAN, LA UNION

NAGUILIAN, LA UNION – At about 5:10 PM on August 26, 2026, personnel of the Naguilian Municipal Police Station (Led Unit), in coordination with the La Union Provincial Intelligence Unit (LUPIU), successfully served a Warrant of Arrest against a 53-year-old woman, Filipino, married and a resident of Naguilian, La Union.

The warrant was issued for the offense of Estafa under Article 315, Paragraph 2(a) of the Revised Penal Code, in connection with Criminal Case No. 5484, dated August 26, 2026.

The court recommended a bail of Eighteen Thousand Pesos (β‚±18,000.00) for her temporary liberty.

The arrested person was brought to Naguilian Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and appropriate disposition.

The Naguilian MPS continues to strengthen its law enforcement operations and coordination with other police units to ensure the effective implementation of warrants and uphold the rule of law within its area of responsibility.

Naguilian MPS Conducts Community Safety Dialogues and Disaster Preparedness Inspections Across Local Barangays

On August 19, 2026, the dedicated team of the Naguilian Municipal Police Station (MPS), under the direct supervision of PMAJ SANTIAGO D BALOCO III, conducted on-the-ground community engagement and safety dialogues with duty officials across Barangay Ortiz, Barangay Lioac Sur, and Barangay Cabaritan Sur.

This proactive visitation initiative was designed to achieve community resilience. Fostering a stronger alliance between local law enforcement and community leaders to guarantee public safety when natural or man-made disasters strike.

Dalawang Lalaki Arestado sa Kasong Robbery sa Magkahiwalay na Operasyon ng Naguilian MPS

Naaresto ang dalawang lalaki sa magkahiwalay na operasyon na isinagawa ng Naguilian MPS kaugnay ng kasong Robbery Inhabited House or Public Building or Edifice Devoted to Worship (RPC Art 299).

Ang mga naarestong indibidwal ay kinabibilangan ng isang 28-anyos, binata, at isang 32-anyos, may-asawa, na kapwa residente ng Baguio, Benguet.

Nagresulta sa pagkaaresto ng 28-anyos na suspek noong August 13, 2026 at ang 32-anyos na suspek ay noong August 14, 2026.

Ang parehong suspek ay may inirekomendang piyansa na 200,000 piso.

Ang matagumpay na magkahiwalay na operasyon ay patunay ng pinaigting na kampanya ng kapulisan sa ilalim ng temang β€œBagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman”.

Nagsimula ito nang mag-post sa social media si Ginang Cel Lhyne SG upang mai-secure ang pera na nakita niya at ipinasuyo kay Ginoong Dominic Florendo na dalhin sa Naguilian Municipal Police Station. On June 26, 2026, personnel of this station led by PCAPT MILUVIS M ALMOITE,DCOP under the direct supervision of PMAJ SANTIAGO D BALOCO III, OIC, conducted inspections and visitations of various financial institutions, business establishments, and vital installations within the municipality. These routine inspections are part of an intensified campaign to preempt crime and strengthen partnerships with the business sector. By maintaining high visibility and constant coordination with security managers, the station aims to ensure a safe environment for economic growth and foster public trust. Additionally, personnel checked the alertness of security guards and verified the functionality of their CCTV systems during the visits.

Joint law enforcement operatives successfully apprehended a long-wanted fugitive facing major fi****ms charges during a coordinated afternoon operation in Barangay Bariquir, Naguilian, La Union on May 18, 2026.

The operation, executed by personnel of the Naguilian Municipal Police Station led by PMAJ FELIPE D RUIZ JR. COP, together with CIDG Biliran PFU and LUPIU.

The team served a long-standing Warrant of Arrest against a 42 years old, single, and employed as a maintenance worker.

The accused faces formal charges for violation of the Comprehensive Law on Fi****ms and Am******on, specifically Section 28 (A) of Republic Act 10591 (which covers and incorporates amendments under RA 9516, RA 8294, and PD 1866) for Illegal Possession of Fi****ms. The case has a recommended bail bond set at Eighty Thousand Pesos (Php 80,000.00).

Following strict operational guidelines, the arresting officers fully apprised the accused of his statutory constitutional rights (Miranda Doctrine) in a language understood by him. Following his arrest, suspect was immediately escorted to the Naguilian District Hospital for a routine but comprehensive medical examination to ensure his physical well-being. He was subsequently transported to the Naguilian Municipal Police Station for standard booking, documentation, and processing.

The accused remains in custody at the Naguilian Municipal Police Station.
