El Niño Alert issued ⚠️

DOST-PAGASA has officially raised its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Alert, following the high likelihood of its development in the coming months and possible persistence into early 2027. This may bring drier-than-usual conditions, including dry spells and droughts in parts of the country.

However, above-normal rainfall may still be experienced over the western sections during the Habagat season.

🏛️ The Local Government Unit of Naguilian, under the leadership of Mayor Nieri T. Flores, has successfully concluded its Holy Week 2026 monitoring and safety operations.
👮‍♂️🚒⛑️ Throughout the observance, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, in close coordination with the Naguilian Municipal Police Station, Naguilian Fire Station, Municipal Health Office, Municipal Traffic Management Unit, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, Municipal Tourism Office, Municipal General Services Office, force multipliers, GBHFI-1GANAP Guardians Rehiyon Uno Bayan ng Basi, Foxtrot Reloaded Riders Inc., Kabalikat Civicom, and all BDRRMCs, maintained an active presence in key areas to ensure public safety and order.
🌊🚗 Strategic deployments, continuous monitoring of rivers and resorts, efficient traffic management, and the establishment of help desks contributed to the smooth flow of activities and strengthened response readiness across the municipality.

In line with the solemn observance of Holy Tuesday and Good Friday, the Municipal Government of Naguilian informs the public of temporary traffic rerouting to give way to religious processions during the Semana Santa 2026.
⛔ Temporary road closures will be implemented along identified procession routes during the scheduled activities. Traffic personnel will be deployed to manage the flow of vehicles and assist motorists.
⚠️ REMINDERS:
• Expect possible traffic delays and plan your trips ahead of time
• Follow traffic signs and instructions of personnel on duty
• Give way and observe respect during religious activities
• Always prioritize safety

🔴 Mahahalagang Paalala:
• Ipinagbabawal ang pag-inom at pagbebenta ng alak sa mga pampublikong lugar mula Huwebes Santo hanggang Linggo ng Pagkabuhay
• Bawal ang videoke at malalakas na tugtog mula Huwebes Santo hanggang Biyernes Santo
• Curfew para sa mga menor de edad: 10:00 PM – 5:00 AM (maliban kung may kasamang magulang/guardian)

🌊 Para sa Kalikasan at Kaligtasan:
• Mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang paglangoy sa Naguilian River
• Bawal ang pagtatapon ng basura, paglalaba, pagsusugal, at iba pang gawain sa paligid ng ilog
• Iwasan ang anumang aktibidad na makasisira sa ating kalikasan at yamang tubig

🚓 Kaligtasan ng Lahat:
• May naka-deploy na kapulisan, barangay tanod, at responders
• May nakahandang medical teams at first aid stations
• I-report agad ang anumang insidente sa mga nakatalagang hotline

🚗 Para sa mga Motorista at Negosyo:
• Sumunod sa batas trapiko at iwasan ang road obstruction
• Ipatupad ang drop-and-go kung puno na ang parking areas
