DAY 2 | LEARNING, LEADING, AND CREATING!

Another meaningful day of learning, leadership, competition, creativity, and camaraderie!

Our Day 2 featured:
🎤 Leadership Seminar & Training – “What It Takes to Become a Leader: A Gentle Balance Leadership Approach,” with our Resource Speaker Leonil Alfred E. Barnachea, inspiring our youth to lead with purpose, balance, and heart.

🧠 Leadership Quiz Bee – Challenging our KK members to put their knowledge and critical-thinking skills to the test!

🧶 Chunky Crochet Bag-Making Workshop – Equipping our youth with practical skills that can open opportunities for income generation and entrepreneurship.

Day 2 reminded us that while we may come from different contexts, we are united by common aspirations—to learn, to grow, to lead, and to create a better future for ourselves and our community.
Because every lesson learned, every challenge faced, and every skill discovered brings us one step closer to becoming the Kabataang may pangarap, may kakayahan, at may malasakit.

To everyone who shared their time, talent, and support, thank you for making this celebration more than an event, it became a meaningful experience to remember.

The celebration continues as we empower, inspire, and challenge the young leaders of Barangay Mamat-ing Norte!

For Day 2, we bring you a meaningful and exciting lineup of activities designed to develop leadership, teamwork, knowledge, and camaraderie among our Kabataan!

LEADERSHIP SEMINAR🎤
Join us for “What It Takes to Become a Leader: A Gentle Balance Approach,” a leadership seminar and training designed to help our youth develop the right values, mindset, confidence, and skills to become effective and compassionate leaders in the community.
We are honored to have Leonil Alfred E. Barnachea as our Resource Speaker, who will share valuable insights and experiences to inspire our young leaders to lead with purpose, balance, and heart.

LEADERSHIP QUIZ BEE🧠
Put your knowledge and critical thinking to the test! Our seminar will be followed by a Leadership Quiz Bee, where our young participants will compete, learn, and showcase their leadership knowledge.

CHUNKY CROCHET BAG-MAKING WORKSHOP🧶
Learn the basics of crochet and create your own stylish and functional bags while developing practical skills that can open opportunities for income generation and entrepreneurship.

LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026: Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Mamat-ing Norte successfully concluded the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, bringing our young people together through creativity, camaraderie, teamwork, sportsmanship, and active participation!

The celebration kicked off with a lively Zumba Warm-Up led by Yuan Gabriel T. De Gala, getting everyone energized, active, and ready for a day full of exciting activities!

The celebration also officially opened with the inspiring opening remarks of our Punong Barangay, Hon. Emelita C. Rillera, who shared words of encouragement and support for the youth of Mamat-ing Norte. Her message reminded us that the youth play an important role in building a stronger, united, and progressive community.

YELL MAKING: Our youth brought energy, creativity, and team spirit as they showcased their powerful yells and cheers!
LARO NG LAHI: Laughter, excitement, and friendly competition filled the celebration as everyone enjoyed traditional Filipino games that strengthened friendship and camaraderie.
SITIO SIGNAGE MAKING: Our sitios showcased their creativity and pride by creating meaningful and eye-catching signage.
RECYCLABLE DECOR MAKING: Our young people demonstrated that creativity can go hand in hand with environmental responsibility by transforming recyclable materials into beautiful decorations.

The SK Mamat-ing Norte would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Sir Jayson Galvan Rivera for his generous donation of broom sticks and soft brooms. Your kindness and support will contribute to keeping our celebration venue clean and organized while helping promote the values of cleanliness, responsibility, and volunteerism among our youth. Special thanks to Rheynan Calica for capturing the beautiful moments and fruits of our collective efforts during Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

To our SK Members, Barangay Officials, KK member-participants, parents, donors, volunteers, and everyone who generously shared their time, effort, talents, and resources, our heartfelt THANK YOU!

From our different contexts, we came together with common aspirations—to connect, participate, create, and contribute to our community.
