As we welcome the year 2026, the Municipality of Naguilian, La Union, reiterates the TOTAL BAN on all kinds of pyrotechnics and firecrackers as mandated by 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎-𝟐𝟑𝟑.

We encourage everyone to report violators to their respective Barangay Officials. Let us work together to ensure compliance and maintain a safe and peaceful community.

🚫 Violators shall be subject to the appropriate fines and penalties as prescribed by existing laws and ordinances.

Please be advised that an alternative traffic route will be implemented in the Naguilian Town Center / Epic Mall Naguilian area to give way to the various Christmas Events in the Municipality of Naguilian from December 11, 2025 to January 13, 2026

"Basura Mo, Liwanag Ko": The Eco-Friendly Christmas Recycling Challenge is ON! 🎄♻️

Namnama Iti Umili, in partnership with the Municipal Government of Naguilian and local junkshops, invites everyone to join "BASURA MO, LIWANAG KO" – an Eco-Friendly Christmas Recycling Challenge.

Turn your trash into treasure and help our community shine brighter this Christmas.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3:
1️⃣ COLLECT your household recyclables.
2️⃣ DROP them off at the Naguilian Christmas Bazaar, Town Center, Ortiz.
3️⃣ DONATE the proceeds to "Namnama iti Umili".

Let's work together for a cleaner environment and a brighter Christmas for everyone in Naguilian. Your "basura" can truly be someone else's "liwanag." ✨

The Provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) supports the Nationwide Child Road Safety Law Enforcement Visibility Day as part of the "Oplan Balik Eskwela" Campaign; and in celebration of the "National Safe Kids Week".
TEN ROAD SAFETY TIPS FOR CHILDREN
1.Stop and be aware when crossing roads. Do not rush.
2.Look at your left and right, and at all directions. Be cautious before crossing roads.
3.Listen to traffic signals when crossing roads. Don’t use gadgets while crossing the road.
4.Think twice before crossing roads. Only cross the road when traffic is favorable.
5.Stay calm and do not run when crossing the road.
6.Properly use the pedestrian lane when crossing the road.
7.Learn traffic color and pedestrian crossing signals and what they mean.
8.Do not play near roads, streets or parking areas. Seek help from elders when toys get out of bound.
9.Wear bright colored clothes. This catches the attention of drivers easily.
10.Use sidewalks for walking. Avoid crossing streets without sidewalks.
